Are the tiles in the travel set the same size as regular set?

Why did the colors rub off?

we play alot of rummy cube with my 97 year old mother. we mix the tiles in a bag and after a couple of years the paints starts to rub off from the action of the tiles hitting one another. time to get a new one!
