Tabakh AppamPatra Paniyaram Non Stick Appam Pan with Stainless Steel Lid, 9.5"

Love this pan. Looks as advertised and works well too. Been using it for a few days and works great. Wish they gave a different material spatula(device used for turning the appam), the plastic one that comes with it melted in the very first use and had to trash it. Does not stick the batter to the pan so far and seems to be doing good, it is easy to clean and the heat seems to be distributing well throughout on a ceramic stove top.

This is a good quality non-stick pan, not too light and flimsy but not heavy and hassle cleaning like the iron pans. It came with a wooden spatula which was useful because not many other kitchen utensils can be used to flip the appams. It comes with a cleaning scrub that's safe for non-stick ware. I made some Paniyarams, and my toddler son loved them. I was expecting the size of the moulds to be a bit smaller for finger food so one could eat the appams without biting into it. This definitely takes a bite and at the same time isn't too big. I think the price point at $25 is a bit high, hence the 4 stars.

This pot is extremely easy to clean but if you are going to make food that sticks to the pot i would recommend a non stick pot.

Item is good but was little surprise to see it’s very light weight it get heat very soon. Have to done in low flame always.

Works really well. It has 12 holes so making large quantities is easier. My husband has the one with 6 holes.. Its non stick, but i still used oil. Clean is also easy, just that water splashes all over coz of the small holes.. hehe Overall, I liked it and would recommend it. **This is my honest review, and i did not receive this product in return for reviews**

Was bit concerned before purchasing but once arrived we used it on day 1 and it makes really well cooked uppam. My son's new favorite food. He even takes it to school for lunch. a life saver product.its easy to clean and it also come with wooden stick which is helpful to flip to flip the appam , and a sponge to clean which is good. Also it works on glass cooktop perfectly. those who have glass cooktop would definitely recommend, it cooks evenly and its sits well. no wobbly nothing.

Am disappointed with this .. I have not used it yet. But wanted everyone to know that this dish came to me with the knob on the lid on the inside. I was okay to let it go because I could unscrew the knob and put it on the right side. What bugged me was the fact that the knob had mold on it. I will be returning this dish 12/30/2014 - Updating this review. Based on call from the BalajiUsa owner based out of New jersey. The knob on the lid was on the inside - this was to prevent it from damage while packaging and handling. I was asked to unscrew it and put it on the other side. I also spoke about the mold on the knob. The owner has apologized to me for this and has agreed to full refund. However I am really happy that the owner took the effort to call me and settle the issue. I will use this product and FYI - the pan has no damages as such.

We used it to make appams and it was really good quality and build. Can buy this excellent product. Non-stick is good and nothing stuck while making the appams.

Yo lo compré para hacer una receta de Takoyakis y me sorprende que nada se le pega, es muy fácil usarla, no se calientan las asas, por lo que es fácil manipularla además de que ocupa muy poco espacio y es fácil lavarla. Existen otras opciones más caras en el mercado, pero para un uso casero es simplemente perfecta. Estoy contento con ésta adquisición.
