MasterClass Cast Aluminium Casserole Dish, Blue, 28cm/5Litre, Gift Boxed

Just perfect for me! I’ve been looking for a shallow skillet type pan with a lid for a long time. I have fused wrists and so can’t deal with heavy pans at all. This arrived just in time as I was making a pork loin dish with a sticky sauce that went straight from my halogen hob and into my oven! Didn’t stick at all, easy to clean! It’s so light and such a great price £29 instead of £70! I’m delighted with it!

Love my MasterClass. It gets used at least once a week for a variety of one pot recipes I've been making over the months. One of my faves is a Chicken and Coconut Rice dish. It's really light compared to similar type dishes. The lid sits nice and I also bought the accessories (hand grips and lid top) to save burning my hands. Beware, without these rubber addons, the dish will get very hot during use. It takes longer than a conventional frying pan/dish to heat up, but once it does, I find it all cooks evenly and there's little to fault with the end product. Another major selling point for me, was the price. I consider it definite value for money and it has largely replaced other pans and dishes, freeing up lots of space in an already crowded cupboard. It can definitely act as a replacement for most of your frying pans, certainly the 24, 26 and 28cm sizes. It's a bit different to the rest of the colour scheme in my kitchen, however this does not create any issues and it stands out in that aspect. If it ever does get to breaking point, would buy another for sure.

A perfect lightweight non stick pan which does exactly what it states. Such value for money. Was introduced to me and no regrets for purchasing. A lovely blue shade which stands out on my White kitchen. So effective in cooking and easy to clean having tested it. Highly recommend for those of you wishing to purchase but hurry up On this amazing offer

It’s great for what I wanted it for, cooking on hob and directly transferring to oven, it’s non stick enough, cooks evenly. BUT it’s very light, so even stirring causes it to move around too much and the whole is very hot so you can’t just hold it with your hand like a frying pan you have to use a cloth. Would prefer a heavier base for hob work, but overall it’s good

Much bigger than I expected but I love it! Lightweight so easy to handle and clean, even in a sink that is barely larger than the pot. Very easy to keep clean, and I made pretty decent meals. Very easy to brown all sorts of foods but, yet nothing stuck to the bottom. Love the blue colour. Great value. I pretty much use it for all my cooking now. I haven’t use it in the oven yet

Those people who have given bad reviews for the handles getting hot obviously haven't grasped the basic laws of physics and conductivity. The handles are metal, metal is a good conductor of heat! You're buying this as an all in one pot that can do casseroles in the oven (hence the metal handles) or one pot meals on the hob. We have some really small mits that fir on the handles so not a problem with hot handles. It's really nice quality, nice and thick pot walls yet very light for the size. I ordered the biggest one as we are a family of four. I was really surprised how quick it heated up. I'm actually starting to think it's improving the quality of our dinners. Would definitely recommend. I might even see if they do full pan sets.

Fabulous pot. Pleasure to cook with. Nothing sticks and just wipe clean with soft cloth. So good I bought another in different size Thoroughly recommend

The pan works fine, however be aware that the handles appear to be made from the same metal as the pan and conduct significant heat, so you’ll need to use oven mits if you want to move the pan. This is a pretty big design flaw, I’ve never encountered this with a cooking pan before.
