How many minutes does it take to make 14 hard boiled eggs

My manual says timer is 18 min for well done hard boiled eggs and it ran that amount of time. I took the eggs out right away and put them in a cold bath. They cooked perfect.

I think it is a quality product. my parent had a Hamilton Beach Egg cooker years ago and it lasted for many years. I am very happy with this one even though the containers are a heavy duty plastic. They clean up so easy.

Have lost the water measuring cup and shipping to get a new one is almost the price of a whole new unit. Could someone please measure for me?

How much water to use depends on how many eggs you are cooking and how soft or hard you want them. For two soft boiled eggs suitable for spreading on two pieces of toast I use just a whisker over 3 tablespoons of water. Your best bet is to try something like that and then adjust to your preference.

Is this teflon coated?

Nope. Doesn't have to be. Only water touches the metal base. So.... nothing to stick to it.
