Great for my application

Great 20# struts.
Bought new fifthwheel camper. The struts on the cargo doors riped out. Upon investigation, mfg had put two 80# (160# total) on doors waying less than 30#. Shipping was prompt, product looks great, eliminated my problem. 2x20#, reducing to 40# vs 160#, doors work much better and struts are not tearing out.

Great fix, worth the money
Work great very sturdy fit well. The lift operation worked flawlessly, and the overall length was just bright assembled them on my John Deere riding lawnmower.

Worked for application with reservations.
Used for supporting an RV bed. According to directions, bed lift weights 69#. Installed according to directions. Secured to 3/4" plywood on one end and 2"x4" on the other end using the factory supplied brackets. Moving the brackets was necessary as they were replacing identical sized struts that were rated for a lesser weight and wouldn't support the bed. Upon trying to mount the new higher weight struts I discovered that they would not support the bed using the original angles. I re-weighed the bed to verify my original determination. Then I installed the new brackets to correspond to the angles in the directions. They support the bed without issue now. However, I am skeptical about the longevity of the mounting brackets as they bend slightly under the weight of the bed when raised. I would think they would fail under rated capacity or may fail in this application over time.

No good. Stuck in extended position.
After cutting the strap to extend the shocks, the shock would not retract. It was frozen in the extended position. No amount of force would compress the piston. Unfortunately, these went straight to the trash.

Brackets bent
Both brackets bent even after finding the correct angle for use now worried they may snap, was unable to contact seller on amazon to explain it, the struts themselves seem to work well but just let down by the brackets. Was going to ask seller if I could get replacement brackets but was unable to.
