My partner has T1D. Every time he ended up with a foot wound, we ended up in wound care at Kaiser and he would come home with a similar product on his foot. Of course they never sent us home with extras to use to change it in between visits (it needed to be changed every 5-7 days, his appointments were 2+ weeks apart) and we would have to do whatever we could in between. Then I found these... These silicone contact layers are a miracle for us. They are so easy to use, keep the wound dry with all of the air flow (and allow for drainage if there's any fluids), and stay perfectly in place the entire time! Now that we have these, I am able to treat most of the wounds at home and get accolades from his podiatrist for how much better things are going. They also seem to accelerate the healing time by keeping the wound clean, dry, and off the ground by adding that protective layer. I not only recommend these, I swear by them!

I had skin tears on hand and elbow from a fall. This silicone wound cover held the skin flaps in place for 2+ weeks while the wounds healed. It allowed dressing changes without disturbing the wounded skin, and easy observation for signs of infection. The dressing only sticks to intact skin, so it can be lifted and repositioned if necessary. Water doesn’t loosen it, and tiny air holes seem to allow an excellent environment for wound healing. It’s a game-changer for me.

This is a wonderful product. It doesn’t stick to the wound and allows it to breathe. Peeling it off is not the usual ordeal that I experience with other products. To keep it in place you may want to use some tape at the sides but I haven’t needed that. I already ordered another package.

This is something you should hhave if you are treating an open wound. After cleaning and applying medication, place a piece (I cut it to size) of this and then bandage as normal. It keeps the medication in place. Removal is simple and painless. Wonderful product.

Very nice coverage for open sores and burns.

These work really well. My husband ripped the skin on his arm and had an open wound the size of a quarter. He was using large bandaids but the wound was not healing at all. I researched bandaids that would not stick to the wound. I wasn't sure what to do with these when I opened the box and read the instructions. They are perforated silicone squares that go over the wound. I applied some antibiotic ointment to the wound, placed the silicone layer over it and then wrapped some gauze over it and taped the gauze. The wound after 3 days is almost completely healed. I'm pretty amazed. Definitely recommend.

Recommended for wound care. A must for nonstick wound care.
