This product seemed okay at first, but after about 4 uses/clicks, the pen flap that keeps it from drying out does not retract. The "click" gets stuck and either does not eject the tip or it wont go back in and thus dries out. I very quickly was not able to use these as long as I was hoping due to the malfunctions. I also found them drying out faster, not sure if it was because it not fully closing or the are not sealing well. I LOVE Amazon, but these markers were awful! Please keep in mind, this was about a year ago (2023), so maybe they improved them.

This set of retractable permanent markers is comparable to another brand name marker; lets call them Dullies. Especially for the price point these markers have a good quality color and they can write on any surface much like the Dullies. I did find that these pens did smell as strongly of solvent like the other ones; so sorry highschoolers you're not getting high on these. The pocket clip is very well designed in that when you engage the clip it automatically retracts the pen tip so thats an improvement over the Dullies. Also there is a good variety of colors.

They’re a nice concept and worked fairly well at first, but unfortunately they didn’t last. They dried out very quickly, and after a short time the clicker stopped working—the tip stayed extended and had to be pushed back in manually. Overall, they weren’t durable enough for me, and I wouldn’t purchase them again.

The markers tend to dry out and break quickly making them difficult to retract. Have had two separate ones leak and stain my clothing, I switched back to regular capped sharpie brand.

Great markers - only wish is that there were more colors - comes with multiples of all colors.

These permanent markers are just as, if not better than the name brand markers. The colors are loud and vibrant with a small tip size to be able to mark on the smallest of items. I have not had any issues with bleed through on paperwork like I usually do with other brands. They also seem to last a lot longer and don't dry out as easily as others I have used in the past. These are great quality and I will continue purchasing these in the future.
