The Baron By Ltl Fragrances For Men. Cologne Spray 4.5 Oz.

Very casual fragrance wouldnt wear this anywhere important but would be great for sunny days out and for this price its a good deal

I used to wear The Baron back in the 1970s, and always received a lot of compliments in a world of men wearing Halston Z-14 or I-12. This scent seems a bit off, and doesn't last as long as I remember, but it's close. The one I just received has an annoying cap design that prevents the cap from being used once you screw on the spray attachment. The cap just kind of wobbles. There's a plastic insert glued into the cap that won't allow it to sit on the bottle. I'm not sure why this change was made, I ordered The Baron a few years ago from elsewhere, and it didn't have this design, the sprayer was permanently attached and the cap fit properly. If they'd fix the odd cap design, I would be a lot happier. I removed the plastic insert from the cap, but it's loose on top of the bottle, so it doesn't fit tight like it should. It's nice to wear scent that many don't recognize now, but I still get compliments.

This cologne is hard to find but as well worth it. My wife and friends around me tell me that this fragrance is not heavy and the fragrance smells like flowers.

i am so disappointed! i wore the baron from the mid-70's until i could no longer find it. when the internet came out, i looked for it in vain. i just bought it from amazon. this is not the fragrance i remember. i remember citrus, green, evergreen. it reminded me of gin and tonic. the citrus top note didn't last long, but i was still content with the remaining green/evergreen. it was refreshing and uplifting. this bottle--i don't know how to describe it--oily, perhaps. overbearing. there is no citrus for me. so much time has elapsed since i first wore the baron. perhaps my nose has changed. perhaps the problem is the switch from evyan to ltl. perhaps the change is due to eu regulations prohibiting natural materials that may set off allergies. perhaps this bottle has deteriorated because it is old. from what i understand from amazon's return policy, i can not return the bottle because it has been opened. this was an expensive experiment.

It is the best Of any brr re and I have ever tried and I am often complimented on my choice. Women love it.

My dad wore this constantly when I was younger, and the scent is just like I remembered. Very timeless. I love it. The bottle design is different, however. The atomizer now screws on, and the cap won’t fit with the atomizer attached because of a plastic insert inside the cap. It irks me a bit to see one of my bottles displayed without a cap, but I’m not gonna remove the atomizer just for that. Very odd and unnecessary design choice.

This is my FAVORITE gentleman scent. My now husband wore it when we met 45 years ago. He stills wear it. I still LOVE it.
