does this case have drop and shock protection as does most of the competition?

I’ve had my navy blue one and I’ve dropped it a few times and the case is still fine. How ever my screen cracked. Good thing I have on a screen protector.

I ordered this case which says with magsafe but did not get it. I only have a case and question is the magsafe incorported in the case?

When it’s said MagSafe it means that the case can be safely use with magnetic charger , that’s all . If the case doesn’t have a built in magnet, it won’t attach into the charger and that useful when charging your phone in vertical position ( like magnetic car charger/ holder ) . This case comes with build in magnet . There’s no magnets in the back of an IPhone itself, like someone stated above

Can you use the lightning cable to charge while this case is on?

Yes. The case doesn’t block access to charge the phone with the cable.

Does the case have the apple logo on the back?
