"Danny, a superhero in training, learns the importance of making good choices while on vacation"-- Review: My grandson loves these books! - Reading this to my grandson, age 5, is such a joy! THE POWER TO CHOOSE is in his hands and he is so engaged! This is our third one of the series and IMO it is the best. The vignettes are longer and more interesting. Great lessons learned in a fun, happy, and relaxed way. Review: Great series that allows kids to choose - I could sing about this book from the rooftops. Not only is it one of the most requested books in our home, I love that it teaches safety and natural consequences. Well done to the authors who have a situation in which Danny, the main character loses his family and needs to ask a safe adult to help him. This was a great conversation starter for our kids if this were to ever happen. We have all three books from this series but I think this one is my favorite. It teaches compassion, making healthy decisions and how to manage emotions. This should be a staple in all elementary school aged kids’ homes. The choices make it fun for the kids as they can make “good or not so good” decisions with how to proceed. Even if they choose the “not so good” choice they can see how a possibly poorer outcome can happen. I can’t say this enough- I highly recommend. I hope for a fourth book of this series!

A must buy!
Awesome book. My 8yr old son loved it. I bought it ahead of our vacation to Panama and it kept him quiet whilst in the airport.

3 Year Old Loves The Book And So Do I!
This book is a great way to teach you child about good decisions and bad decisions in a simple way they can understand. When reading we will choose one of the choices and see what happens, then we will go back to the spot where we picked the first choice and then choose the 2nd choice to see what happens - prior to finishing the whole story, just to show how situations change depending on the choices we make. The illustrations are amazing and they help my 3 year old son stay engaged and understand how good decisions make us and others happy, while bad decisions make us and others sad. Great teaching opportunities throughout the book and my son doesn't even realizing he is learning important life skills. I also liked in this book version that some of the choices are neither "good" or "bad," they're just choices. For example the 2 choices presented when Danny is scared to go down the big water slide. It was a great way to show how 2 "neutral" choices can change a situation. I highly recommend this book! I love reading it with my son and talking about the different choices and their consequences.

Can help children with awareness and responsibility of own behaviors
Great book to teach children about the power to choose and how each choice they make has a different outcome or consequence. Can teach awareness and responsibility of own behaviors. What makes these books a hit that in addition to it being a helpful teaching guide is that our kids (6,7,8,11) absolutely love the these books!

My 6 year old still loves these books
My 6 year old son loves these books and has since we got the first one for him when he was probably 4. The books provide great lessons about, well, the power to choose and the effect that can have not only on your child, but on others around them. Like all choose your own adventure type books, there are a bunch of different possible endings to the stories based on their choices but they are all very well written and fun for your kid to discover. I have had to force my kid through the power of the dad override, to pick more than just the super nice choices throughout the book (DAD WANTS TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS), but he gets great joy out of all of them and telling me WHY the boy was going to get in trouble. Great series and a fun read for your child and yourself, plus it has the benefit of not being the EXACT SAME READ each time like most other books your kids will force you to read 100x over.

Awesome series of books!
Purchased as a present for my nephew to complete his series of books. I never knew they existed. I love the concept of teaching through consequences by ones choices. I enjoy that the books give the reader the power to make decisions then see the outcomes of those choices both positive or negative. Amazing and well constructed books makes reading fun for kids while learning life lessons. Best part my nephew's name is Danny lol.

Un muy buen libro. Edítenlo en español.
Yo compré el de What should Danny do?

Amazing books
We have all 3 "What should Danny do" books and they all are absolutely awesome. Both my kids (aged 8 and 3) love it and love reading them over and over again. Gorgeous illustrations and really nice story lines. The fact that they get to choose the way the story goes is so exciting for both of them. The only disappointment is caused by the fact that there (so far) isnt more of them. Would 100% recommend to anyone with kids.
