The function of these filters is spot on and is genuine product. It is not so sheer that it makes you ask how will this even come close to grabbing hair and other things. It's thick enough and it fits nicely under the tabs and you get 2 per order. Depending on how you use your air purifier this could last you as long as 6 months. What I don't like is having to cut the filter down to size. In the package you get 2 templates which makes the cutting process easy however for the size I need there is NO template. Hold on to your 1st original filter and cut 1 of the replacement filters to size. Then use the templates anyway you can to mark how best to cut future filters. I noted the width and use the smaller template for that. Cut both out after you get used to cutting your filter and have them ready to go because the second your filter needs changing and your machine goes off you want 1 ready to replace. Don't forget to wash or vacuum the internal permanent filter as well. On the flip side if Honeywell keeps the cost of 2 replacement foam filters down by having us cut them ourselves I'll deal with it. Better than them selling 1 or 2 cut to size and charging double any day!!! The filters work great.

I purchased this pre filter for my Honeywell Air Genius 5 purifier. It's convenient to receive two filters in the package assuring you have a fresh filter when needed. Using this filter in my air purifier truly reduces household dust and keeps the air smelling fresh. I noticed that when I accidentally turned the unit off the build up of dust on top of the furniture built up over night. I have forced air furnace and cooling and this filter installed in my purifier makes a world of difference. Also when cooking certain foods that give off an aroma and stay around long after eating, this particular pre filter does a wonderful job. I highly recommend the Honeywell brand. It fits the unit perfectly and is easy to install.

I got these so I could have more than just one for my purifier. I am glad I did, it is much easier to wash and replace than the current one. Just make sure you cut them down to the right size as they may not fit if you go to small. No complaints here
