I was surprised at the sturdiness and durability of these individual pieces. They are all high quality, and considering the price, these are a bargain. The metal teeth on the combs are gentle and rounded at the ends and did not harm my chihuahua. There are various comb sizes depending on your dog size, and the combs I used were effective in getting the fleas off her, or what wax left in her. As other reviews have pointed out, I am using the metal comb to comb my own hair. The teeth are too far apart to catch any fleas or almost even anything the size of a housefly for that matter. Now I know this is a review of this specific product, but I couldn’t not share the research and hands on experience I have personally had and wanted to share and educate other fur baby parents out there to keep our pets healthier, safer, longer, and to help stop poisoning these beautiful innocent creatures. Medication is not always a good thing, nor is it the most effective solution, nor does it work! I’m not a doctor or claim to be. But I know how to research and test. Do you want a very effective DIY HEALTHY TIP that is inexpensive and most likely already in your home? 1) Equal parts Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with water in a spray bottle. Spray directly onto your pooch and gently rub into their skin. Non toxic without harm to pets only benefits. Also spray their bed and all around the house. Huge multiple benefits will make the fleas jump off - they hate it. I wasn’t crazy about the vinegar smell so opted for 2) Non toxic coconut oil administered orally rubbed into the grooves of her dental dog treats, again no harm to pets only benefits. It contains lauric acid, which has insecticide properties. You don’t need a whole lot, and in fact given daily, can be used as part of a pets flea management treatment. Dogs love it, she licks it off like it’s icing, fleas hate it. Both vinegar and coconut oil had so much better INSTANT results, literally, as in one day, as opposed to any veterinary oral or topical treatments, which after 2 weeks she still showed signs of fleas. Who wants to see their fur baby got through toxic poison longer than they have to, when they can do it all natural and safe without toxic chemicals. It will also promote healthy skin and a shiny coat.

The product works as described. Very fine tooth combs can really pull the fleas off and the bright green color makes them easy to see. My dogs like being combed with them because they get a nice scratch the areas that they can’t reach on their back. I would buy this product again.

Many different combs for different hair types, lengths, etc. overall pleased with the product. They do work as intended. Recommend for pet parents with fur babies. Quality of each comb is pretty great and price is fairly inexpensive.

I use flea combs to comb my pets as regular grooming (not for picking fleas because they do not have fleas), but I suspect they'll work fine for fleas. I like using these combs for certain short hair breeds as they gently remove under coat which reduces shedding throughout the house. I like having variety of shapes.

I usually have used the Hartz flea comb which is sturdy BUT the teeth are too far apart and fleas slip thru it doesnt grab them i LOVE this flea comb set the variety is great and the main long handle comb is very nice with fine close teeth EASIER to get fleas with as the other brand doesnt grab them and they slip thru this is WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR also like the longer teeth.. just went thru a horrfic flea outbreak and have completely fotten rid of them with steam cleaning, vacuuming, and carpet washing, as well as flea comb 3x daily, coconut oil WORKS on their skin immediately i have tried everything spent a fortune on chemical sprays for inside the house etc but what worked was the combination of steam, vacuum, flea comb and coconut oil.. try these things and ur pets will be flea free without meds, i gave them flea tx and that did nit work, the fleas have to bite them first. TRUST ME, also, in Fl i dont let my small dogs outside in the summer heat with bugs mosquitos snakes fleas from all the squirrel etc we are on a lake and alot of animals enjoy it too, alligators, u name it, wven thi they have a fenced area we have predatory hawks etx that will literally swoop up a small dog, my dogs have a 4000 sf house to run in and lots of enclosed outdoor spaces where they enjoy sitting in the heat of the early morning sun. Dont forget to feed your pets somw raw organic geound pumpkin seeds, i mix it with chciken breast canned pumpkin, very small amt of crushed garlic, celery, parsley, and mixed baby greens, they get this a little in am and iams dry, and canned food during the day and pm feeding I bought worming pills as one of my small babies had a tapeworm from the flea infest within 2 days of giving them the mixture it came out along with the head, i still dosed him with the bayer quad wormer but nothing else came out so the oumpkins seed mixture is what got rid of it. I use the "fuller brush spiffy maid vacuum" it has the strongest suction i have found better than my eureka and it is soooo easy to use that i can get under furniture and do that at least once daily right now. Steam cleaning REALLY helps to kill eggs, and larvae, i bought the pure steam cleaner with canister it is super lightweight and als can get under furniture, i also bought the bissel power fresh steam mop, between all of these things they are now gone, but i will continue this freq thruput the summer months. Also made a copycat mixture similar to angry orange to spray around the house. Hope this helps someone to save $ on expensive chemicals if you want to elimibate fleas, put coconut on ur pet it is good for their skin and the lauric acid kills fleas, when the dog licks themselvws it also gives them a wonderful smelling breath .
