Billingham SP40 Leather Shoulder Pad (Chocolate)

It's excellent. Cruelly expensive, somehow worth it. Super comfortable, well made. Buy it when you buy the bag, don't separate the purchase, make it one big painful expense. Check my review of the bag (Hadley Pro 2020) if you'd like.

Very comfortable pad - a must have for a heavy bag. Looks great too!

This is a very well made shoulder strap to be used on one of the Billingham camera bag shoulder straps. I didn't think it would make much difference carrying the bag, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was a more comfortable carry as well as lessening the strap slipping off the shoulder. You can use this on any other shoulder strap as long as the width of the strap is 1.5" or less. Highly recommended.

Expensive for what it does. Yes, the material and workmanship are tops, but you pay for what you get.

If you are going to carry a lot in your Billingham, this is a nice additional source of padding.

I wish Billingham would include this with their Hadley Pro 2020 bags, which I have. Nevertheless, this particular model shoulder pad matches the leather parts of my bag perfectly, and does help the bag feel less heavy. It’s not cheap, but neither is anything from Billingham. It’s worth it for me.

I purchased this to help with the skinny shoulder straps on my Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM handbag. The color matches very well with the Damier Ebene canvas. Anyone who owns this handbag knows how heavy it can be when it is full. This shoulder pad makes carrying this bag effortless. I don't use it every day but when the bag is filled to capacity I do use it and there is no stress at all on my shoulder. A lot of people complain about the skinny straps cutting into their shoulders, this definitely remedies that situation.

This seems a very pricey addition to your Billingham bag but once you get hold of it you can see where the money goes. It's a very solid, well made shoulder pad that is quite substantial (without being bulky). I bought one for my Hadley Pro and a) it definitely improves the overall look and b) it's very comfortable and has transformed the bag when carrying all my kit around. It fits snugly and securely into the webbing strap and is unlikely to detach. I would definitely recommend it. The only shame is that they don't supply one as standard on the bags which they should for what you are paying for the bags!

Cette épaulière pour sangle jusqu'à 38mm de largeur est d'excellente qualité. Si vous portez votre sac Billingham sur l'épaule du côté où pend le sac sans croiser la sangle au travers du corps, elle préviendra tout risque de glissade sur votre épaule. Dans cette configuration je trouve l'épaulière indispensable. En configuration croisée cela se discute : d'une part on observe peu de glissement, et d'autre part l'épaulière peut apporter de l'inconfort. Si comme moi vous passez d'une configuration à l'autre selon les circonstances vous finirez probablement par en avoir besoin, à moins d'avoir l'épaule particulièrement creusée.
