Small and Sufficient
Just recently found my old drafting lead holder and then found my dad's even older lead holder, but my sharpener went missing. This little wonder works well and is even able to be stashed in a pocket. Although I have not tested to make sure the fines don't leak out the opening. The bottom opening snaps tightly so no worries about it opening accidentally. Anyway, it sharpens the leads to a nice fine needle point. Now I can use my pencil for sketching and woodworking again.

Excellent tiny lead sharpener
Excellent sharpener, couple notes. 1. To sharpen insert the lead, twist and do not press down the lead. If your having trouble, lean the lead back in the hole, should hit the sharpener better. 2. Getting a tip stuck in this sucks, but it is possible to gently take it apart to remove it. Use fingernails and push down at the seem near the bottom on both sides and the bottom sould pop off. (Last photo) I'd recommend something metal to get the bits out, they really can get wedged in. This happens if you press down while sharpening. Other than that, excellent and super compact. Makes a great fidget too.

Extremely impressive!!
2mm lead sharpener — OUTSTANDING!!! I’m using this for art / graphite drawings. Bought this to use with my WSD 2mm lead clutch case* I’ll never leave home without this sharpener that just arrived this afternoon. Mega impressed. Quickly sharpened my 2mm lead sharper than I would have ever thought possible!! * Important side note if you have this particular pencil clutch: lead will swivel on you if using this particular lead holder (not uni fault, I’m just mentioning this so you know what to do) hold lead between fingers and you can even rotate this sharpening upside down. Using a standard mechanical pencil is just a pure joy!! And easy as those cases ‘hold’ the lead from rotating. You’ll love this sharpener!!! Ease of use, travel friendly, incredible performance!!! Value for the money 👍🏻👍🏻 It’s sharpening ability left me gob smacked!!

Great affordable super-mini 2.0mm point sharpener
There's little to go wrong with this sharpener (pointer), as it's extremely simple with only one opening for 2.0mm lead. It's VERY small, and that's part of the charm -- takes up little space. It sharpens well. I examined the lead tip after using this and the conical shape was smooth and evenly tapered. The tip ends up a good 4mm long, so it's not a blunt sharpener. Lead dust/fragments do not fall out of the topside opening. There is a hatch at the bottom, accessed by sliding a firmly held slider door, and the lead dust/debris easily comes out. The box has no directions in English, but for the basic operation the diagrams are fine. What they DON'T TELL YOU is that the bottom section of the sharpener can be separated from the main body. This is essential to know for removing broken tips that won't fall through the bottom hole. You have to wedge your fingernails (thumb) into the side seams near the bottom to dislodge it. If you use a screwdriver, you might gouge the plastic. Once the bottom is off, you'll also have access to the blade. The reason why I didn't give 5 stars is that the top doesn't lock into place. There is a tiny "notched" friction point that helps keep the top from spinning on its swivel freely. But it doesn't take much to nudge it out of place. It's a very minor point, but had the notch been more prominent or some kind of lock provided, I'd have given this 5 stars.

Just work!
For STAEDTLER 925, this sparpener just worked. I've both of my pencils been sharpened within 1 minutes after opening the package. No learning curve. This is the way should be. I spent so much time unwisely in STAEDTLER Mars Lead Pointer earlier, and I should the review earlier. Looks like STAEDTLER Mars Lead Pointe only works with 780 series. STAEDTLER should make it clear in the package.

Excellent lead pointer!
This is the best lead pointer! I use both this and the classic Mars rotary pointer, and I like this Mitsubishi pointer more! It sharpens very quickly with just a few turns of the pencil. It's also very easy to decide how sharp you want the lead point to be. If you advance the lead just a little, you can get a good writing point. If you advance the lead just a little bit more, you can get a needle-sharp point. It's also smaller than the standard pink eraser--about two-thirds the size.

My absolute favorite for 2mm lead
I bought this to compare to the Staedtler 502 rotary lead pointer sharpener. It is now the only sharpener I use. Pros: -small enough for easy travel use -all branded lead holders will work -provides an excellent point -intuitive, simple to use like any standard wood pencil sharpener Cons: -Only one taper level, compared to the 502 which offers a method to use a longer taper -Small enough to lose easily -shaving trap can be irritating to open for emptying Update: Having now used and recommended this product, I have one significant complaint. In the event that the lead breaks inside the sharpener, you must slide the interior blade housing out via the base to clear it. No included information nor marking made this clear and I nearly broke the sharpener figuring it out. I have been using this for about a month-ish. It is incredibly handy and provides a steeper point taper than most lead holders' included sharpeners, meaning a longer, sharper point. I have been using it extra frequently and thus far it has not failed to provide a fantastic point. Easy to fit into my pocket, so I can take it with me on the go and that means I can make finer, more detailed drawings easily even just going out for coffee. I cannot stress enough how much I love this thing, and how much having it has improved even just my enjoyment of drawing. I have nearly lost it a couple of times because of how small it is, it can easily disappear on the cluttered desk, but it's simple enough to just always put it in the same place. I plan to buy a couple more to keep around, one for my car and a backup for my travel pack. However, the ONE option for taper length can be very restrictive to certain artists, vs the harder to use Staedtler 502 which gives you the option to sharpen a longer taper. I recommend this very highly to anyone who draws from the point, but possibly not for people who lay in lead from the side . Either way it's cheap enough to get it and try it yourself without major loss. Thanks for reading <3

Doesn’t sharpen after a few months. KEEP LOOKING!
Worked for a few months on my Kitaboshi 2mm mechanical pencil, but failed later. I think the blades just got dull because it didn’t seem jammed when I held a flashlight up to it. It’s also quite hard to fix jams because you just can’t see what’s going on in there; it’s very small, light, and opaque, which was initially why I was drawn to it, but those ended up being negatives when I couldn’t see what was wrong with my sharpener. Also, that small hole that you’re going to jam your pencil into several times a day to sharpen it? Prepare to get graphite shavings all over it and it’ll get dirtied up fast. If you want a long-term use sharpener, I don’t recommend this one.

Génial
Parfait. Enfin un taille crayon mines 2mm (et uniquement 2mm, si on n'a besoin que de ça) sont les sciures ne tachent pas la trousse. C'est le seul modèle que j'ai vu qui soit parfait.

Small & handy!
Very handy for 2mm clutch pencils which cannot fit into the standard Staedtler sharpner. Small and extremely handy! Very good product... Highly recommend!

Temperino mine 2mm

and also for things like loosening a too tight lock mechanism
Lovely, tiny, effective lead sharpener, which collects the lead dust to protect your other tools from all that black and messy detritus. Slide the top across to expose the hole in which to twist the lead until it is sharpened. Doesn't seem to give an ultra sharp point, but effective enough for most purposes. I usually remove the lead from the pencil before sharpening, as then I can tell how much pressure I'm putting on it, to avoid breakage. You can also keep the sharpenings as an art material, as you can buy powdered graphite for various art purposes, and also for things like loosening a too tight lock mechanism. Who knew! There may be sharpeners which give a better point, but I haven't seen one so effective in keeping the dust inside.
