The JOOLA Nova Outdoor Table Tennis Table is a great value (mind you I purchased it from Amazon at 40% off MSRP). I was looking at purchasing an outdoor table for my family to play in our carport during the warmer/nicer months with the option to move it into our basement when it got too cold. Looking over the reviews of other tables (Stiga Coronado for one) I decided to go with the Nova due to the ease of assembly and storage. The shipping was fast and the delivery company worked well with us to make sure we were home for delivery. Assembling the table was a piece of cake. All you have to do is attach the "T" sections of the legs that have the casters and all that consisted of was using the included plates and two bolts per "foot" to bolt them together. Everything else was assembled. This is my first high quality table tennis table purchase so I don't have experience with other's build quality, but the Nova is very solid. The table top is solid and flat even though it's only 6mm surface. The casters are high quality, sturdy, all metal (exept for the rubber wheel surface), and all four will independently lock. I don't feel that I have to be gentle when moving the table. The other legs are solid and have adjustable feet. The only issue that I saw were that the two different sections stood at different heights in the middle so I had to use the net bracket to even them out to play. Speaking of the net, I read quite a few people complain about the quality of the net, but I haven't had a lot of issues with it and it works just fine. If the net is a HUGE deal to you, you'll probably want to invest in a higher quality one though. Overall, I have been very happy with this purchase. I have 5 children under the age of 12 and we play on the table AT LEAST 2 hours a day between everyone and it has held up VERY well. (I was even inspired to get a JOOLA catch-net/Ipong combo to use for working out). NOTE: Due to getting this table at the start of winter I have yet to use it outside. BUT looking at the build quality (table surface, powder coating, quality of welds, etc.) I have little doubt that it would work extremely well.

Wow! We are loving our new table tennis table. It was easy to put together and is very well constructed. It is so nice to be able to leave it in the backyard without worrying that it will ruin although we did purchase a Joola cover for longevity that is very easy to throw on in between uses. This table has already provided hours of enjoyment and we have found it is a great way to connect with people. We have a young adult ministry that meets in our home and there is something about hitting a ping pong ball back and forth that allows for informal and spontaneous conversation. Our nineteen year old son loves it too and it has become a focal point for his friends to hang out and play. An added bonus - I struggle with dizziness and have a vestibular disorder. Ping pong is a recommended therapeutic exercise and I am loving it for that reason too. All in all - the price point was excellent and we love our new table!

This was a very positive experience. I bought the table while Amazon was running an additional 25% off so the price was right. The shipping was free and I was able to schedule the appointment and it arrived in the 3 hour window promised. it was packed well. The box looked beat up but it has corner protectors and a reinforced cardboard. Assembly was very easy, I just need to attach 4 wheel brackets. You'll need 2 wrenches, one to hold the bolt in place and the other to tighten the nut. I recommend a socket wrench. The table plays great and looks very cool. Storage is nice because it is 2 pieces; half a table and 2 wheels then the other half and 2 wheels so it stores very compact. My last table took up quite a bit more room and was very unwieldly to roll around and set up. It is very easy to set up and break down; you roll out half the table, unfold, then roll out the other half, unfold and then the net brackets hold the 2 sides together.

We bought this table as an early Christmas present for our kids. Overall, we're very pleased with it. A few details: This sucker is HEAVY. It takes at least two people to move it around. However, it is pretty easy to assemble the table itself--all you have to do is bolt on the casters, then line up the two halves of the table (which do not actually connect to each other). Getting the net set up was actually a little harder. It may just be me, but the instructions for the net were a bit unclear; in fact, at first we just used an expandable net that we already had. When I finally got back around to trying again, I found that the assembly video on Joola's website was quite helpful, as was my realization that I just had to pull really hard to get the caps off the posts. Once I got the net set up correctly, it worked much better than the other net we were using. The net actually seems to work to bring the two halves of the table together, and the setup now feels very solid overall. I can't speak for other tables firsthand, but my impression is that this is a better table--in terms of ease of assembly and build quality--than some of the other outdoor tables from other manufactures, and it doesn't cost that much more. The bounce is very consistent as well. We've already logged quite a few hours of play on this table, and I think we will play many more.

We received this product from Amazon, and we are really pleased with how the whole process happened. Shipping company Amazon used was great, they communicated what was happening excellently. The driver contacted us day before, and everything went super smoothly. The table arrived in its manufacturer shipping container. I was very impressed with how well the shipping container was constructed. It had structural elements inside to ensure the product was properly protected. It arrived in flawless condition. Assembly was very easy, basically, attach the wheel trucks with the bolts and brackets. A second person is definitely recommended to help lift. It was not overly heavy, but the table surface is large. Overall quality of the the table is great. I was not sure what to expect from an aluminum composite table, but the bounce is exactly as it should be compared to the other tables I have played on. All in all, I give this product 5 stars each for 3 aspects; 1) ease of ordering a large item like this, 2) ease of delivery, and 3) overall quality of the product. We love this table, and we are confident that it will bring us a lifetime of use. Side notes: We plan on using this table indoors. We live in Florida, and due to the humidity, we felt that a typical MDF construction table would tend to warp. We also plan on using this table as a main dining room table. It is super large, and the wheel trucks and support legs are recessed enough to allow people to sit around it. We will put a table pad on top, and a table cloth over it. It will make a beautiful table to entertain with. However, we also will be careful to not put excessively heavy items on it either, as its primary purpose is a ping pong table!

Picked up the Joola Nova DX table for my twin teenage sons for Christmas, and they love it, braving the crazy arctic weather we've been having to play out on the deck every day. :) It was nice to be able to schedule the delivery date/time, and the delivery guys showed up right on time. The table comes in one large, flat box that is heavy, but two adults can carry it for short distances. The delivery guys used a dolly to get it up my long driveway and then carried it up the steps to the house. Assembly was simple--8 bolts. 5 minutes with a socket wrench and a wrench is all it took. The assembled table is in two halves, which makes moving it easy. The wheels are oversized and heavy-duty and look to be well designed for long life. The two legs at each end of the table are height-adjustable, a great feature for an outdoor table. The playing surface is a composite that appears to be impervious to weather. The table plays fast and true, which my sons like. This is a serious table that looks like it will last for a long, long time. Picked up the Kettler Heavy-Duty Weatherproof Cover to help extend the table's life and to keep it clean when it's not in use. Cover fits great and can be thrown over the folded table in seconds.

first let me say this review is how I feel right now it could go to to 5 stars or remain there depending on what and how fast Joola takes care of problem. Set up was easy, table looks strong and very playable delivery by amazon was very fast and the packaging was great, not the cheap cardboard box. The problem is the casters. after assembling it was put in place on concrete in my backyard under a huge deck. After trying to level I realize the deck is not level, not the tables fault, I decided to buy a 1" x 4" x 8' piece of treated wood to screw into the concrete that worked very well and we started playing. All is great but not so fast being the weather in northern N.J. has foretasted heavy rain for a week straight I decided to move the table to the side of the deck that no rain fail on, but when doing so 2 caster split apart just plain broke in half. These casters are nowhere to be found home depot ,lowes, ace, so the only replacement is call Joola but they have no hours on the weekend. So I will call Monday and see what they do and how long it will take to get new ones. Rolling off a one inch piece of wood should not break a caster now I worry about the other six casters. maybe it is just a freak accident I should know soon and update with results.

This is the BEST ping pong table. We had it outdoor at a short term rental vacation property and it has held up fabulously! We also have one in our home. Easy to put up and fold down out of the way! We made a product video to show up close.

I love this table. You can easily fold it and roll it around. I roll it in front of my house and I play with my neighbors or the family. Love the table. I was able to assemble it by myself but I had to use the help of my wife to clip the central articulation. So maybe one to do most of the job and have somebody just to help stabilize the table while you clip it at one point. The table is very sturdy when we play on the street. Good choice and good price.

High value for your money

Table arrived in perfect condition within expected time. This table is easy to assemble and a pleasure to play on. Net clamps could be a bit more sturdy. But otherwise, an excellent investment for its category. If you're a beginner, purchase this table first, rather than a less expensive one. Rather than becoming discouraged due to a flimsy, or poor quality table, this table, will inspire you to continue playing, and thus improving one's skills and dedication to the sport. Ping Pong is a wonderful NON-body contact sport, which will enhance your eye-hand coordination, as well as contribute to overall body agility, flexibility and strength. A great table for a fabulous sport! Recommended.

The Joola Nova ping pong table is beyond excellent value for the price as we have seen it on other sites much more expensive. , It's a professional table for indoor/outdoor. Because it comes apart so easily we use it as a dining table and to practice solo as well. The assembly took 30 min. The delivery was on time and it arrived in perfect condition and well packed. This is the best Christmas gift to ourselves and will keep the relatives busy when they visit!

This is a great table. It was very easy to set up, I did it myself in about 20 minutes. It folds up very easily and is not difficult to move around. The net does a pretty good job of keeping the table from coming apart, but it would be nice to be able to lock the 2 sides together. At this price it is a 5 star table but I only gave it 4 as mine has a very small scratch ( about 1/2 inch) on the playing surface (see pic). This is not big enough to affect play and isn't worth the hassle of doing a return/exchange. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and would absolutely recommend this table.
