Good for emergency supplies.
Liked the individual packaging. I purchased these to keep in our church's disaster preparedness stock. We get hot summers with wildfires, and wet winters with frost and heavy snow. These are ideal to hand out for temporary use if people evacuate (or, like last winter's snowpocalypse when power was out for 2 weeks). And cheaper than fleece blankets, of which we also had several. Had, because some morons decided to steal our community supplies - so I can't comment on durability of these plastic lifesaver blankets....

It delivers what it says, mostly
This product makes some claims, with most of them are true. It is waterproof and windproof. Heat retention it's really good. Very small and light. The only thing I haven't tested is durability. Cheap (in the good way).

Super thin. But lightweight
Was very very thin material. Haven't tried it as far as warmth yet. Lightweight. Good as far as carrying a bunch of stuff and it not adding much weight.

Outside the box use
I used these to cover the outside lines on my A/C unit to block heat. They work very well.

Preparing emergency kits
Appears to be an excellent product. I’m hoping we won’t have to use it. This is for an emergency kit I’m preparing for my family’s vehicles. I always say better be safe than sorry. I’ll most likely order more to prepare kits for close friends as well.

Helped us to social distance outside for Christmas
Bought these to hang on inside of deck railing. For Christmas my son’s family and I celebrated Christmas on my deck for social distancing. I have a propane fire pit and the blankets blocked the cold wind and reflected the heat back towards us. The only negative was that I used tape to attach to rails. A couple of the blankets ripped when I tried to remove the tape.

Get this one
More durable material and less expensive than the ones you’ll find in the camping section. Got the 10 pack. Pulled one out for testing and it held up much better than the cheapest one at Walmart ($3.99). Gold on one side silver on the other. Bonus: at a dollar something each you don’t feel terrible about only using it once. Folding it to fit back into the bag takes skills I don’t possess.
