I love Coffee
Been ordering this for over a year now. It is my favourite coffee by far. Strong and tasty, very handy to have in the coffee bags. I just throw one in my ninja thirsty whilst i commute to work and once I'm there it’s a lovely black coffee. Price is great for the quality of coffee you get and i love the smell of a freshly opened pouch. I like coffee, can you tell?

Black (Donkey), strong, easy and not at all bitter.
Firstly, I never write reviews. So something good must be happening here. The coffee brews easily (it's in a bag so what could go wrong?! Yes, I guess the bag could burst in the cup. But, so far, no amount of squeezing and squishing the bag as the coffee brews, has led to this outcome). I've been taking this strong brew black and it just smells and tastes as a (reasonabl) strong coffee should and - the key takeaway for me - it in no way tastes bitter. No nasty kick after even a mouthful. IAnd this despite both intentionally and accidentally leaving the bag to brew for more than the 4-6 minutes suggested (on back of packaging)... even this hasn't resulted in an undrinkable stew. Secondly, the other main motive for the review is to support a small roaster. This coffee must never disappear. A new age of super-decent 'instant' bag brews is really here. It is supplied by Black Donkey and it tastes so good. Buy, try...enjoy.

Great for the perfect pot of coffee. Very strong and the roast is so nice.

A decent cup of coffee
Good strong coffee fairly reasonably priced. I've bought it about 3 times now and unlike most of the coffee bags it's not bad wakes you up etc and isn't ridiculously expensive just a bit pricey but at least you get something decent. If it was a quid more I'd go back to instant but be miserable each morning as it is I can just about make it work

Highly caffeinated
Definitely strongly caffienated but not as intense a coffee flavour as I was hoping for. Don't get me wrong its still a decent flavour and I wouod buy it again. It was just not quite what I was hoping for - maybe I'm just chasing a unicorn!

I like this coffee very much and have ordered it several times.

Good strong flavour

Mediocre
It was okay, good quality bag keeps coffee fresh but the flavour was somewhat mild. I tried a variety of techniques brewing for a long time / squeezing the bag but couldn't get the 'intense' flavour. Still it was good value for money.
