Good sweeper - worth it
The Karcher Push Sweeper works well for me. I swept the driveway. Picked up dirt and small rocks the truck tires deposit. Swept up the shop area very well. The real test was the concrete access aisle to the indoor sand arena. It was completely covered with sand. While it took several passes to clear it was easier then a push broom and no dust. The only dust is when the bin was emptied. Once I get the floors swept and manageable - it will be a snap to keep up. Using on stable aisles. No it doesn’t do well in reverse. The brushes are soft. I ordered the heavier brushes to try. I bought the Karcher because it offered easily accessible spare parts … happy with my new sweeper. No more push broom fatigue and clouds of dust. EDIT: the heavier wet conditions brushes arrived and installed. I like the heavier brush - gives more resistance when you push the broom - but picks up refuse even faster. I’ll use these and put the others on the shelf.

Works best on dust
Cleanliness and Housekeeping has become a bit of an issue around our plant. I saw this sweeper and bought one unit just to try out on our production floor. We are all getting older and with staff shortages these sweepers were almost a necessity. These worked SO well I bought 3 more, 1 for each dept. Pros: For us this sweeper works best on our vinyl and wood dust from saws. Using this unit on concrete it will sweep up the fine dust perfectly. The 2 rotating front brushes are flat enough that they can reach in/under our wooden 2x4 A-frame racks, spins out the dirt into the center of the sweeper and the large brush on the main wheel axle spins it into the hopper. The hopper is just held in place by gravity... no latches, snaps or straps holding the hopper in place. I am always amazed at just how much "dust" this picks up. You could not see dust but you knew it was there from the tire tracks from our forklift that would be left behind. This sweeper WILL pick all of that up effortlessly. The handle is adjustable but we have them tightened so they are always ready to grab and go! It is just like walking around mowing grass but you are cleaning up your work environment. Cons: and these really are not that bad for our use but... Sweeps best on straight aways because on turns one wheel stops as you pivot which slows down the main brush on the axle so it leaves a little trail behind. If you are planning on ONLY sweeping 'chunks' (small wood/vinyl/aluminum scraps, screws/nuts bolts this sweeper won't be for you. There is a front center castor (office chair wheel) that gets stuck on every 'chunk'. (Like when your shopping cart hits a stone) If there is only an occasional 'chunk' you can steer around so it doesn't hit the center wheel. The bristles are not real stiff so they are not able to lift up heavier items like larger nuts/bolts. If you have any lengths of plastic wrap (from pallets or material deliveries) they will get wrapped around the main brush and you will have to stop and remove it because it will leave behind dirt if any of the bristles become confined. All in All this unit is worth every penny. The Pros far outway the few cons at least for the purposes that we intend to use these sweepers.

Works great!
Works fantastic, better than I expected. I have a long gravel driveway and a concrete floor in my 60x100 pole shed. I'm in and out everyday with my truck, tractor, four wheeler, lawn mowers.....etc... The gravel and dirt are a constant and this little sweeper sweeps everything right up, just have to walk swiftly. Easy to empty and easy to push into a corner when done.

Awesome product
This thing is amazing. The only thing I would say is I would not purchase it for a 2 car garage or smaller. It would still work great but when you turn it leaves a trail and I feel like you would be disappointed. I use it in a 30’x 50’ garage and it works amazing. I would say the bigger garage you have the better it would work only because you don’t have to turn a lot. I have used it on my rough concrete and it still works great. Total game changer. Even if you wanted to sweep your driveway I think it would work great. The best part about it is everyone thinks it is neat and everyone wants to try it out and clean my garage. Not a chance they do that with a normal push broom. Probably my favorite “adult” purchase. I have heard that the belts that drive the front brushes get dusty and start to slip and you need to clean them off but I live on a gravel road and I have not had a problem with that yet and I use it every day for probably the last month. My only complaint is the front has a little caster wheel in between the brushes and it gets caught on zip ties or bigger dirt chunks but that is more of a me being lazy and not picking things up problem than a problem with the product. If you have made it far enough to read this review just buy it. You’ll love it. I hate to clean but pushing this thing around at the end of the day for 5 minutes with one hand and a cold beverage in the other is absolutely no problem. It just makes the shop look so much cleaner with minimum effort. It would probably work great on a wood deck also but I have not tried that. Sweeping compound would probably make it even better as far as the dust but it is still cleaner than a push broom.

Good for light cleanup, but not if you are a perfectionist
I purchased this with the goal of clearing acorns and oak tree "helicopter" seed pods from my driveway and sidewalks, as well as clearing grass clippings and leaves that blow in to my garage. Overall, the product is certainly lightweight and easy to use, but falls short in several key ways. 1. You have to consider how you want to set your path when picking up materials. You cannot sweep this back-and-forth, and cannot clear corners easily. Tilting the unit back on the rear wheels to move it doesn't stop the rear sweeper, and it can often dump collected materials out the back, making you have to re-sweep the area again. 2. This may work great for a woodshop with fine-grained dust and wood shavings, but clumps of leaves, grass clippings, etc. don't necessarily sweep as well requiring multiple passes. twigs, especially, can be a challenge. 3. The bin fills quickly, requiring frequent emptying. The design also tends to collect material at the back of the bin, so some of it falls out when you lift the bin to empty it. I've found myself having to tip the unit on the front wheel/brushes first (or simply hold it in the air, front-down position), before trying to remove and empty it. The design is also a bit challenged if you are going uphill or downhill trying to pick up material. 4. I've also had the issue with the front brushes coming off - the design could be improved with a better locking mechanism on those brushes. This works "good enough" for my needs to clear the bulk of the materials on my driveway. But if you are bit more of a perfectionist and wanting a completely clear and clean floor/driveway, you may be disappointed and/or finding yourself having to both make multiple passes and/or use a more traditional broom to clear corner areas first, or spread "piles" of material a bit to make it easier to pick up.

Expensive but worth it
Is it perfect? No. Does it work? Yes! This sweeper has limitations, it can’t sweep up hay, straw, or anything that will have a cord or string-like consistency. Feathers are meh. With the brushes that come standard it cannot pick up things like rocks, nails, or heavier items. I think the harder bristle brushes you can buy for wet work would be the better brushes for those types of items, though I haven’t tried. I’ve included video which is of my barn because I desperately wanted video when I was making this purchase. Excuse my one-handed sweeping/recording, it’s not a machine flaw, it’s me running into shelves and getting caught on things because I can’t one-hand drive and record. Amazon only lets you upload ONE video so… sorry! We keep the chickens and ducks in the barn, and it hadn’t been cleaned since November (winter). It’s now the start of March (our first dry days). The barn roof has a leak so some the poop gets wet and then stuck to the floor even more. The floor is stained, but I think that the scrapings and subsequent sweeping are fairly clear. It does a really good job when you go forward. It doesn’t turn the greatest, but I found when I kept it in forward motion by turning it swept consistently. Definitely lift up the back of the sweeper (the machine) before taking out the dust bin part. I found this slid everything to the front of the sweeper and therefore slid everything in the collection bin to its bottom, this helped prevent loss at the back. Yes, it still occurred, but manageably. Dust: definitely cut down on dust! It does a good job getting along walls, and it made cleaning the barn go a whole hell of a lot faster. In my opinion it’s a buy if you have a large space that needs to be swept. I recommend getting the harder brushes when you buy it.

Great purchase of the year.
I use this for sweeping up my large car park and have found it the best purchase bye far this year. I don’t need to plug it in and it picks up stones, twigs and stones easy.

Wasn’t Expecting That…
I work in a warehouse, doors opening and closing, vehicles in and out year round, so the dust, grit, and debris can get out of hand very quick. A section of the floor is very rough, badly pockmarked, that using a broom without a sweeping compound you’re in a dust bowl and with compound an absolute slog pushing it across and out of all the holes. I’d spent quite a bit of time looking for just about anything to help that I eventually ended up here. Needless to say, I bought it instantly. Personally, I’d never seen a sweeper like this before. No power, manually operated, just push it like a lawnmower. I was pretty excited to try it and see how it would do in this environment. Now I bought it knowing it says “Not For Commercial Use” “Residential Use Only”, but at this price point, I wanted to give it a shot. Unboxing and assembly is straight forward, there aren’t a lot of pieces to have to worry about. It works best in long lines, smooth curves, and soft corners. Sharp turns you’ll see that it leaves some stuff behind, but you can just straighten out and run over the pile what was left. I pushed it all over the warehouse, and I was actually shocked at the ease with which it picked everything up. If you haven’t seen or used one before, it’s like you’re walking PAC-MAN. The two front brushes lay well into the ground, not just lightly skimming the surface. And they do a great job at kicking debris into its path and the spiraled brush underneath scoops it into the hopper. It picked up decent sized wood chips, wood splinters, nuts, bolts, screws, cardboard, leaves, easily. And it does a better than expected job on very fine dust. Going up and down the aisles was great because the brushes get right under the shelves and in just 2 passes each aisles is done. Now I can’t think of any cons really, except that this is for a very specific type of task, and it’s something you’ve either wished you had or it’s not even a thought. Having used it around a warehouse, we are still going to be sweeping with compound, however, it’ll be done a lot less often. Using this at a home, on sidewalks, walkways or storefronts to pick up leaves, dirt, sand, etc would certainly make the job far more easier if that’s something you were looking for.
