A nifty switch that makes life easier!
This is a nice little switch that does its job very well. I use it to switch keyboard and webcam between the work laptop and a personal desktop computer. For my work laptop I use a docking station and one output of the switch feeds into the docking station. It has no issues with that set up. With 4 USB input ports, I could plug additional devices into it (as opposed to running all cables all the way to the desktop). That way it also acts as a multi-USB port. I have plugged in windows hello fingerprint sensor in it too. Works flawlessly. A small issue with it is that the light on the device (indicating the switch position) is very dim and can only be seen if looked from the above. You cannot see it from the side. So it's not easy to know which position the switch is in. The physical switch is just a press switch so that doesn't tell if it's connecting device 1 or device 2. It's not a deal breaker for me. The switch is great other than that!

I've searched far and wide
I've spent countless hours and hundreds of dollars (business expensable) searching for the perfect solution to switch between my work machine and my personal machine. I would have thought that doing so without A) laboriously unplugging and plugging back in all the correct cables or B) continuously hosting kvm software on one of the machines or C) spending the total net worth of a small country on a hardware fit for a king from the '70s would have been a solved solution in 2020s (spoilers it is not). This is the best solution I've found. It's very possible this is hosting some sort of KVM software under the hood but as far as I can tell it seems like it physically switches the connection between machines with one button press. This works so well I bought a second. Most important note (obviously): I'm the least professional of gamers around but it seems to handle gaming well with no noticeable lag ๐ Best,

Works with slight delay
There is a slight delay when USB switching (maybe a 3-5 seconds or so) but it does work as intended for the last month or so. Also was a decent price to

Exactly what I wanted
Came with two 4 ft male to male USB 3.0 cables, and USB power cable (works without this power cable, this just provides extra power to supplement if PC does not provide enough for devices like USB hard drives). Now I can share up to four USB devices with two PC's. Nice ... works great.

Worked with Xbox Series X and PC MnK
Used this to connect my Mouse and Keyboard to my PC and Xbox series X. works perfectly, no input lag that I can tell, even playing Warzone 2. another bonus for me was, this switch allowed me to use a single USB port on my xbox for both the mouse and keyboard instead of having to use two, as I have an external SSD and Headset that occupy the other two USB slots on my console. the switch does take about 5-10 seconds to swap over after pressing the button but that is still far easier than unplugging everything from my PC to swap over to the xbox just to play AOE4.

Works great for migrating OS drive to SSD and using old drives
I initially bought this to migrate an old HDD to an SSD (which, btw, made the old computer seem new with the faster SSD). The fact that I can also use it to read/write to older HDD's with older interfaces is a bonus! I have a few older pc's and laptops laying around that I've taken the drives out and now I'm using some of them for backups and off-site storage of data. This device plugs into any USB port (USB 3.x compatible interface) without drivers. It comes with all the cables and A/C adapter you need. A really nice package.

Works great, but it is quirky...
It does what it is supposed to... I can now use one keyboard and mouse with a PC and a laptop. But, sometimes its starts acting up. Like, the power light on the keyboard will start blinking, and then I know its time for a reset. Or the mouse stops responding... But, I only have to do a reboot like every 4 or 5 days, so it isn't that bad. I just wish someone could make one of these switches that is dependable. I'll gladly pay more, but there don't seem to be any.

Connect device won't connect sometimes, defeating the whole purpose of the device
Using this between MacOS docking station and windows, 75% of the time, after disconnecting and reconnecting and then switching from windows to Mac, it works, 25% it doesn't and I have to reseat the docking station into the mac When switching from Mac to windows, it used to work fine, but has started to increase in no connectivity after switching, requiring me to reseat the mouse into the hub. These drawbacks defeat the purpose of the hub. Edit: less than one year later device is starting to fail
