Perfect Hiding Place
I purchased this Koi Castle because I thought my new Koi would need a hiding place in their new pond-home. I do like the castle and it is a perfect hiding place. My Koi however, haven't used it and I think it is due to the fact they really dont feel the need to hide. So I DO recommend this product, it is not super visible and does not take away from my pond, and you can see through it to view fish inside it. But my fish have not needed it!

Really protects pond fish!
After a heron raid on my pond and losing many fish, I added the tunnel, Koi Kastle to the pond - another potential raid was thwarted as the fish were protected - didn't loose any fish - adding a second tunnel for insurance -

My goldfish like to hide under the Koi Kastle (Aluminum and Mesh) 18 x 12 x 5.5 Inches
I bought this because I have an 8ft x 15ft pond with fairly transparent water and about a dozen 4 to 6 inch goldfish in it. Lately, I have found that herons from the bayou near my street in Houston are occasionally landing on the pond border and trying to get my fish. I put the Koi Kastle on the pond bottom at the deep end (2.5ft deep), and I find that many of the goldfish are hiding under it. It has algae growing on the mesh, which helps conceal the fish.

Nice hiding place
I have a 10‘ x 10‘ 2 1/2 foot deep pond, It’s got a ledge so I sent this on the bottom and it feeds into the ledge or the fish have a nice little entrance to their own Lil cave , it was shiny at first but after a while it kind of camouflage itself with some of that natural moss in the pond , I would buy this again the fish love it it’s become their main little Thorofare

Helps With Shade
My Koi fish love this to hide under and it keeps them shaded out of the sun.

At first I was pleased but then I held up my two new Koi Kastles and noticed that the screen stretched across the top and sides was flimsy nor was it sewn tight on the ends. This was very disappointing since the screen on the Koi Kastle I had ordered well over a year ago was nice and tight all over even after constant use and scrubbing it clean every now and then. I do not recommend this product.

Great sun shields for your fish
These are perfect for my pond, I get a lot of sun over my pond and these work great for a giving my fish shade and hiding place for them

Nice
This is just what I ordered. I didn't have to put it together like the other one I ordered. The fish love it and to my surprise it hasn't grown a lot of algea on the surface so I can see my fish. The purpose was to hide them but at least they have shelter. This should last a while.
