A must have
I tried several other light bars and was disappointed. It is a bit higher in price, but it is WORTH EVERY PENNY. Lightweight, well constructed, so easy to install, and looks great off. Then you turn it on... Ton of patterns, programmable flash patterns, takedown and alley lights, directional patterns, and don't forget high and low brightness. Excellent unit. I've had mine running for 2 years and it still works and looks like the day I got it.

Fantastic Tool for the job
This light bar came in and I was originally disappointed that it was not Big, Bulky, and looks to small. WELL I was totally wrong about that. this light bar is so bright you cannot look directly at it if your to close. this is going to make you very visible from a LONG WAY OFF. The controls are very easy to use, and very simple to mount. I had this system up and running very quickly. I Use this system as part of our emergency response teams for our local EOC center, and feel very comfortable if i have to be stopped on the side of a dark road I will not be hit because someone did not see me. I wish I could have gotten a post mount or headache rack mound for this system but the mounting screws were very easy to put on a manufactured rack mount I created. ONLY ONE CON - the takedown rack and ally lights are Not that bright. works as a flood light, but not spot light. OVERALL, very happy about this light bar. and would recommend it to anyone who needs to be seen.

Better unit than expected.
Slim. Plenty of cordage. Ridiculously bright (not a bad thing) and better than I expected it to be. There are pros and cons to this unit. I installed this on a 2014 Ford F-150 super crew. Routed the controller cable through the 3rd brake light, running it along the headliner and down A-pillar and placed controller on the dash above the left dash vent with 2 way tape. Plenty of cordage. Power cable ran down the exterior along rear window down, cab between bed and cab, and under chassis, up along fire wall and directly to battery. Had to extend power cable about 3ft. Not an issue for me. Mounted light bar unit with the supplied brackets, at what would be the B-pillar. Acknowledging that theses brackets are a universal one-size fits many type of hardware, I did have to make some adjustments to the flat brackets (bench vice helped) to achieve the angles I was looking for. I will eventually permanently mount this to the roof, at a later date, if this unit proves to be reliable. Unit has takedown and alley lights and they leave a bit to be desired for brightness. Scale of 1-10, about 4 or 5. The main emergency lighting is much brighter than I expected, especially in this price group, and Iโd rate them at least a 9. The โtakedowns & alleyโ lights ARE dual color, which is a positive. Instructions are a bit vague in some area, but enough for a dummy like me. Plenty of flash patterns to choose from, but some are, in all practicality, useless. Be that as it may, better to many than to few. Here are my suggestions to future buyers and the manufacturer. Would like to see this light bar about an inch or so higher off the roof of vehicles. Longer feet would aid in its visibility on vehicles with long cabs, such as mine. Controller comes with a 90 degree mounting bracket. Supplying an additional bracket at 45 degrees would aid in interior placement, and may have allowed me more options, as to where I could have placed controller. I suppose I could have beat on it in the bench vice and solved that myself. The light bar IS NOT marked as to what is front or rear. I simply connected it to my battery and using the control pad, determined front and rear from the โtakedownsโ then marked the front on the belly of the bar. Unit has been through car washes, rain and snow, and I see no water or moisture inside unit. This is a long winded review and I apologize. When shopping for one of these, I sought as much info as I could and ended up with more questions than answers. I hope this helps others.

Not a โno-drillโ installation!
No mounting instructions at all. None of the included accessories work with any of my vehicles without drilling holes in the roof. โGutter mountsโ do not fit the gutter of any vehicle. I cannot use or install this. Itโs a pity because the actual light bar is super cool. Great brightness, patterns, and the bar itself is well built. I just donโt have any way to install it. Unsure if I want to return it or not. Maybe I can eventually build my own mounts for it. Until then, it is fun to play with.

Good little light bar!
I installed this on our Road tractor. The headache rack had a plate for a light bar on it, with a couple of holes already there. I was able to drill two more holes and move the brackets on the bar a little bit to line up, and it was a very solid feeling mount, using the brackets that came on the bar. I used a grommet that was on the roof of the truck to run the wire in, and mounted the control box at the edge of the headliner, using a screw that was there to mount the headliner. It sits right between the sun visors. I REALLY like the visual display on the control box. Not only to know what pattern is flashing, but that keeps us from accidentally leaving it on, when it should be off. It's fairly bright. Visible in the daytime, and you can see it reflecting on the street signs in front of you. I cant speak for any longevity yet, but so far, I am pleased with it!

It lasted exactly one day. Update 05/27
I had the light bar professionally installed with brand new battery in the car and brand new wiring and it lasted exactly one run on my escort vehicle. Now the front lights just blink off and on only and the back ones run a pattern. The control box died after a single 8-hour run. I will update when I see what happens with customer service UPDATE customer service really took care of me. Very happy with them. Don't know how the replacement parts will work or last yet. Second update. Try to install the new light bar, and you have to plug in the control module to the light bar, and it has four or five pins inside. The same thing happened to the other light bar happened to this one. Trying to plug it in, you get one shot and it depends on exactly perfect, one or two of them will bend and that's it for the light bar. The engineering is unbelievably stupid. All they had to do was switch the hard wired plug that's hard wired to the light bar to the female plug, and have the mail plug coming off the little control module that way there's something happened all they have to do is send you another control module. As it stands if one of the tiny pins bends, that's it the light bar is done. I mean I don't have an engineering degree and I figured that out it makes you wonder. I don't even want anything from them at this point. It's just going to keep happening. I don't know why the control box isn't just hardwired like the power, or why they don't just put the female part to the light bar and the male part to the control box is beyond me.

Awesome and easy to install
Absolutely love this light bar. Only took about an hour and a half to install. The adjustments were easy to manipulate. The hardest part was concealing the larger power wire. Lights are SUPER bright. Took it over to my parents house to show them, and it almost blinded my father they were so bright. He had to go look at his surveillance footage to view the operation properly. I am absolutely thrilled. It lights up stop sign with the amber strobes about 1/8 of a mile down the road easily. Alley and take down lights I feel are a little weak, but that could be due to all the other lights on the vehicle.

Great company
I highly recommend ASPL!! Had a problem with the light. Messaged them about the problem. No hassle just sent a new light. This is the place to get your strobe's

Bright light... weak construction
Very bright good Patterns. But the Traffic advisor mode isn't just the back its the FULL bar. Yhe TA arrow buttons just are just hot keys for one of the preset flash patterns. The frame isnt rigid at all... claims aluminum... it feels poly... its starting to bend like a banana after only 2 months or so of use. Would return if able.
