Quite heavy, you need the harness on to use it, value for money, easy to use, very good reach.

Arrived as promised, well packaged and assembled very easily. It’s quite heavy on the extended pole, but not to unwieldy. It cuts like a knife through butter, very impressed with first use. Time will tell on reliability 🤞

I ordered a GPHT 07 and that's what it said on the box that was delivered. What I've received is the 2 in 1 pole hedge trimmer (06) The 07 allows you to use it as a normal hedge trimmer without the telescopic tube. It has also come with an extra pole and a saw attachment. Neither of these features I particularly wanted. (They did feature in the listing - but I wasn't aware there was another model that was a basic pole hedge trimmer) Clearly the numbers are mixed up and I'm confused. In a how to use video (An American) demonstrates an 07 that looks different to the one I've got in that it has a nice handle grip for the left hand. I have just a rubber bit on the pole to hold onto. There's a shoulder strap which I can't get the hang of. Do I have it just on my shoulder or over my head on the other shoulder? There was also a mystery plastic item on a strap that was attached to the shoulder strap that doesn't appear in the instructions. I don't know what this is for. It's got no holes or fixings to attach it to the pole trimmer. But otherwise it works fine.

Mains powered, excellent and powerful extendable tree pruner with 20mm wide saw jaws will tackle most jobs around the garden. Can be used in 'short mode' with switch handle plugged directly into pruner head, or with extension section which simply plugs in between switch handle and pruner head. This extension section incorporates a sliding inner section to further extend the pruner. Fully extended the pruner is quite heavy and needs care with handling but the large handle on the extension section and the shoulder sling helps provide control.

Don’t be fooled by the images this is heavy and can be unwieldy. If the instructions are in English the. It is a language I have never used before. All of the weight as one would expect is at the front by the blade, but if you extend the pole you can expect to work only in short bursts before the strain on upper arms and shoulders becomes too great. You will need frequent rests. It trims standard hedge very well but thicker stems require the accompanying saw. If you have a lot of hedge to trim/ cut be prepared for sore arms! If you can allow for the above it does the job UPDATE 2/6/2022. I came to use the hedge trimmer again to cut the tops off the holly hedge in my garden. After approximately 20 minutes and on a moderately warm day but by no means hot, it stopped working.I looked at the few troubleshooting tips that were available and then looked online. The only thing I could thing of was that it over heated which was surprising because it was being used sparingly. It hasn't worked since. I must stress that the item has had only light use since I purchased it. It will trim a hedge but the weight and maneuverability of the trimmer really work against it. Even with the shoulder strap you will certainly know you have been using it . I did not abuse the trimmer , indeed far from it, but it has stopped working. I would not recommend to anyone other than Arnold Schwarzenegger,

It's always going to be heavy with a long reach hedge trimmer and maybe this is lighter than my last ( an Aldi special) but the beauty is you can turn this one into a normal hedge clipper ! It doesn't feel the most robust, only time will tell, but it cuts well, and for the price I'm impressed!
