Effective manual pump - relatively discreet
These have been so game changing I have 4 of them I use in rotation so I always have two on hand if sterilising the others. LIKES - When I use this on one boob while breastfeeding on the other, I collect approx 60ml - 80ml at a time and put in a bottle for my husband to use (while I gratefully eat dinner with two hands!) - Can use this while breastfeeding in cradle hold and baby can’t kick it off (unlike the udder type pumps) - I can pump discreetly (ish) while in public and don’t need a special bra (although it does make my boobs look enormous!) - You can see how much milk is approximately collected by looking down through the clear bit at the top (meaning you don’t need to take it off or look in the mirror to see) - You can easily adjust the suction by pressing the valve at the top - I have sometimes fallen asleep with these one and no precious milk spilled out (thank goodness!) - Easy to clean and sterilise DISLIKES - It’s near impossible to read the measurements on the back of them because the writing is basically transparent. It’s such a useful feature to have but completely futile on this as you can’t read it in the daylight, let alone while sleep deprived at night. My midwife recommended these to me and I use them daily. In terms of value for money, I thought they were expensive initially as it was £19.99 for ONE (so < £40 for two) - they do not come as a pair. However, for the amount of precious milk I get, I see it as a great return on investment as it means I can pump anywhere and someone else can bottle feed my baby while I rest or catchup on housework.

Awful!
Says universal sizing but it's really not if you have larger nips it's super painful almost halted my bf journey and elvie did nothing upon contacting them and I purchased 2 of them so I'm now stuck...

Expensive but so helpful for building a freezer supply without pumping
I bought this to replace the traditional haaka, as my baby would just kick it off during a feed. This fits into my nursing bra with no issues, the suction is easily adjustable and comfortable. The silicone part around the nipple is smooth and soft and is comfortable to wear regularly. I have use it for 3 feeds so far and already got 100 mL that I would have lost in my breast pads, it works so well and I'd highly recommend!

Not on a level with the Haakaa
Updated at 12 weeks old: I wanted to update my review about the Elvie curve. Once my supply calmed down (oversupply) I actually only reliably got 20-30ml (both sides) per session, which is nowhere near as good as a Haakaa. As a reliable milk collector to build a stash, this is NOT a good choice. However, the rest of my review is accurate: it’s good to catch a letdown and handy that it fits in your bra when you’ve an interested toddler around. However, I didn’t really end up using it past a few weeks. Essentially, if I needed to save milk I just used a Haakaa when toddler wasn’t around or pumped, and if I didn’t need to collect milk, instead of fiddling with the Elvie Curve I just let letdown absorb into my breast pads. The Curve became obsolete, which was a real shame. If this had suction equal to the Haakaa, it would be the perfect product for milk collection. Sadly, it doesn’t meet the same standard. Original review at 2 weeks old: I’m going to level with you. This isn’t as good as the Haakaa/Naturebond for output. However, if you’re a mother who simply can’t sit with a Haakaa on any more (ie if you have a toddler who keeps trying to pull it off) then this is a pretty useful item to have. It collects a decent amount of letdown (I’ve had up to 80-100ml in a session) which is enough if you’re slowly building a freezer stash. It sits in your bra, which is a huge benefit because you can be sure it won’t be falling off and getting milk everywhere. It has a decent suction, not as strong as a Haakaa but definitely enough to trigger letdown and much stronger than every day milk collectors (eg Medela). It is generally more convenient and less obvious than a Haakaa, if you used it with other people around. Over all, it’s a good alternative for a Haakaa and the best part is it goes in your bra.

Essential for Breastfeeding mums
Every breastfeeding mum should have one. Can't believe I didn't get one for my first two pregnancies. Without the stress of pumping, I am storing almost one bag (6-8 oz) per day in the freezer thanks to this. So comfortable, easy to put on, you can set the suction to your liking (one breast might need more), and so easy to bring around and clean.

Not as effective as Haaka
I bought the Curve after using Haaka outlet because Haaka needs to be watched carefully so it doesn’t fall off or hit something as I walk. However, having used the Curve a few times I’ve now gone back to the Haaka. The reason is that the Curve doesn’t work as effectively - it’ll be on with the maximum suction but no milk / very little milk comes out. When I swap it with the Haaka, my milk pours like from a tap. So it’s not the amount of milk in the breast tissue that’s the issue, it’s the design. While it is great that it sits in your bra and you’re free to move about, you can’t see whether it’s working or not - the suction is there and you’ll think milk is flowing but often it’s completely empty. So I go to a mirror to check. The only time it has worked well is first thing in the opening when my breasts are very full but that doesn’t work if the baby has some milk first and your breasts are no longer super full. Overall, I do not recommend this product.

Love this product!
I’ve been using a Haaka silicon type pump and decided to try this one. It was definitely more expensive but I love how it fits in my bra while I’m feeding my daughter. It’s auction is strong enough but doesn’t hurt like my other silicon pump. And I get more milk out which is great. I highly recommend this product if you wish to express while feeding baby.

Don’t buy!!!
I bought this for my daughter. It arrived and she was really happy with it. Unfortunately after a few days use the silicone has split where you press to release so now you can’t get any suction. Such a shame because it was so easy to use but no good now the suctions gone.

I got 4 Haakaa, and 4 ladybugs but this one beats them all. So convenient, suction is good. Can basically wear it everywhere. Super recommend.

I tried a haaka with my first child and even if I could get the suction right, the moment I moved (let alone the moment she moved) it lost suction. I could never get more than a half ounce. It took a few tries to master but I'm able to attach the Curve with one hand - it helps that I can suction it on and then adjust my nursing bra. This is perfect for midnight nursings for me - the baby usually only takes one side per session and I can get almost a full pumping amount on the left over side if I use the Curve. I'm not a fan of pumping both sides at the same time, I find it really uncomfortable. Again I can stick this on the side I'm not pumping and get almost a full pump sessions worth. If I really want to drain that side, I'll just pump for five minutes at the end of the session. Granted I've maxed out at about 4.5 ounces a side. So if you regularly pump more than that it might not have the capacity you need. The little valve can be challenging when you pour out the milk - until you get the hang of it. Cleaning is pretty easy if you have a bottle brush.
