Great product!
Love this product. The material is thin, but durable. They aren't padded in any way. Also, some people commented on a smell from the bags. I'm not sure if maybe some batches have that issue, but ours had no smell at all.

perfect and durable
They hold up great and are easy to use! Only compostable in industrial facilities but at least they'll break down faster in the landfill. I'll keep ordering them!

Checks off lots of boxes
Pros:I like the printing that says the bags are made of corn and compostable. The adhesive is REALLY REALLY strong.Labels stick to the bag with no problems.Cons:Will tear easily at the edge when removing the adhesive backing. I've lost a few bags this way, though I could just use packing tape. If the company could address that, it would be 5 stars and I would get some in a variety of sizes.

Do not buy!
These are flimsy and have no durability. I purchased to send customer orders and one ripped in transit. In the bag was a soft oven mitt. I went through a nightmare trying to get Canada Post to release the package to my customer but they told me because the item separated from the outer packaging, they cannot deliver. Waste of money. E-commerce buyer beware!

Flimsy but Okay
I love the idea behind these mailers. However, I find it very easy to tear the material they’re made of. It’s flimsy, and probably looks a little beaten when it arrives. Nothing lost yet though (fingers crossed!).Also, I’ve found that there’s no good compostable shipping tape, and I don’t own a label printer (which would help a bit). That means that my mailers sent probably shouldn’t be composted after I’ve put tape on them. That’s a bit counterproductive, and poor marketing to my customers who might throw this in their compost pile. On the other hand, I guess they’ll still dissolve faster if they go to the landfill.Another point, the 2nd seal will never get used - these mailers probably have a rough ride with 1 mailing. I can’t imagine the mailer would survive a second. Not to mention that there’s no perforation in the material, nor instructions on the mailer telling the recipient that there’s a second seal. Unless you are shipping to yourself, and assuming the mailer can survive 2 trips, the second seal is useless.Last, tape seams to stick okay to this mailer, but not really well. It’s not that it feels particularly chalky, but it doesn’t feel like the most secure adhesion. I have to really withhold from soaking each package in tape in hopes that the tape sticks to the other tape, ha! And then my brain cycles back to the compostability topic....Good intentions overall, but I’m now quite aware that a lot of the features are oversold on this mailer, and they’re mainly there to get you to buy this product rather than to supply a solid mailer.

Good but Odorous
This item is fine and works for shipping purposes. The mailers are pretty thin but they have been durable so far. The mailers have an unpleasant odor however.

Weak but no big problem yet
I love what they stand for so I continue to use them but not without some concern of tearing
