Blackhawk, Serpa Close Quarters Conceal, Gun Holster

I like the simplicity and reliability of the Blackhawk line of holsters. I have three of these and they just work perfectly every time. They are easy to fit onto your belt (even if you only have a regular belt), priced fairly and securely holds anything you put in it. The only down side (for me it doesn't matter) is that no you can't use a device mounted light with this holster. You can use a device mounted optic if you want.

I love this Holster! And its because its passive retention system is so ingenius. If you know anything about proper gun handling/safety you know not to draw or point a gun with ur index finger on the trigger. When doing a proper draw your fingers line up perfectly for a fluid easy press of the trigger guard release button and quickdraw. Practice the movement t though for the most natural and QuickDraw. I hated the holster my company gave me and wanted to give it back right away. When I asked my fellow security officers what holster they preferred to replace theirs with they all recommended I look at a Blackhawk! Serpa holster. This one came with an optional pancake holster attachment which I admit I didn't take the time to figure out how to use As far as I can make out its purpose is to add a few inches of space further from your hip to have a farther out holster in case you're more comfortable having it out from ur side a bit more or you don't want the holster/firearm to be accidentally mistaken for concealed. I have a concealed carry weapons permit so I don't care, plus I feel more comfortable without that extra space. This makes for a holster that you can easily display by tucking ur shirt inside of the holster for open carry but is small enough to pull your shirt over for concealed. However just a shirt will still leave an obvious impression of a concealed gun. For concealed go with a hoofie or other sweater or better yet, an actual coat. This belt will fit comfortably on my regular 1 1/2" dress belt or can be adjusted to fit up to a 3 1/2" thicker duty belt if need be. I use it on my every day jeans belt for concealed carry and on my 2 1/2" duty belt for work and it fits fine one both. All the other officers in my company seem to have switched out their holsters for a serpa. I ended up getting the matte black finish but if I could do it again I'd go with the carbon fiver finish. Looks much cooler to me when I see it on my co-worker's belt. I like that most people who see a holster like this don't understand the passive retention system this holster has. It has no overlapping securing loop. It looks to the average onlooker like nothing has it secured and you could snatch it right from the holster but you don't have to worry about that with this holster. Your firearm snaps into the holster with an audible 'click'. Unless you're pressing the release button while doing it for a quiet holstering. The holster latches onto the trigger guard and will not break if someone tries to snatch hard and quick at the weapon. And once they've do e messed that up, Boy are you gonna let em have it. All in all this one is good on and off the job. Great, sturdy, quality holster.

Been using the Blackhawk Serpa for going in 18 years and have experienced zero problems. I’ve used them for compact and full sized pistol with no issues at all. I prefer the belt carry not the paddle option. The material can take abuse of daily wear. Maintenance is almost a none issue since unlike some leather holsters they done experience moisture retention issue or cracking and stretching. At most I just blow them out with compressed air to get rid of any lint from my clothes. I’ve read a great deal on how ranges would not allow you in training session with these and a series of negligent discharges Because upon depressing the lever release people have a problem keeping their fingers out the trigger housing. I’ve never had that happen in almost 2 decades. That’s more of a training issue then holster design. These are great holsters if you are properly trained. Customer service is amazing. Once called them up in regards to a spare resting screw and it was mailed in less than a week. Every few month I double check these screws. Never had a problem but I believe in checking things to prevent problems down the road. I bit of tightening and zero issues. I can’t recommend this holster enough. If you wear it without the paddle the it will be noticeable to those who look for things like that but that’s a personal decision. Again, buy it. You won’t be disappointed. As long as your training is consistent you will have ZERO problems

Package arrived seemed it went through war zone. The parts were all in the package. I have many Serpa holsters so I know it’s fine. Like all Serpa holsters the lock up is great and comfortable fit. Great holster for OWB

I've been a fan of Blackhawk products for a loooong time. Good quality, comfortable, good price point and keeps my G19 secure. Easy draw and reholster. I use this as my "winter OWB carry" holster where longer heavier shirt / jacket Help conceal my firearm. Easy on and off for day to day errand trips to store etc. I gave 4 stars only because I believe after all these years, Blackhawk could redesign the Serpa holster to be more concealable in summer months. It just sticks out too far. I have another holster that I use OWB carry during the summer months where my Tee or Other short sleeve shirt can easily conceal my sidearm.

This is my first case for my first pistol and I've been really liking it. The case fits nice and snug on my hip and is quite durable. Was recommended to get it by other security officials due to the reliability and safety measures. It fits my Glock 45 9mm really well, and have not had any problems with the button on the side or the case itself for the past month and a half since I got it. Be warned that it sits really close to your side, so when you sit your gun may rub against your hip. Either way, it's been working great for me and it was worth the money.

I bought this wondering if I might use it for concealed carry outside the belt and tucked underneath a shirt. I felt like it didn’t hug my body as well as a couple others and so I thought about taking it backpacking in New Mexico since they permit open carry without a license there in the forests etc... so glad I took this! I discovered the belt loops on it were large enough to slip over my backpack’s clip and onto the straps at the waist belt. It worked great and was positioned in a great spot where my arms didn’t hit it while I’ve was hiking and I didn’t have to worry about the waist belt pushing in on it and making it dig into my side if it were carried inside the waist or on my normal belt. Love the locking mechanism on this too. I never worried about it slipping out while backpacking, but I could easily and quickly draw it if I ever needed to. If you want to carry while backpacking or in any other situation where you may want to hook this up to wider straps I’d definitely recommend giving this a shot.

I'm a Serpa CQC fan, have one for most of my pistols due to my Dunlap's disease (my belly done lapped over my belt, making IWB carry difficult). Got this one (02 model) for my Glock 19, and it fits well, as have all my different brand pistols in Serpas. The ability to use the QD (quick detach) connector allows me to change holstered pistols very quickly for different applications. I've already had an acquaintance try (jokingly!?) to pull the 19 out of the holster, and he was unable to do so. I installed a Glock threaded barrel on the 19, and it does stick out about an inch below the holster, which was made for the standard barrel. But have not had it catch on anything yet. Yes, the pistol handle sticks out about 2" to 3", but a little practice and I rarely bump anything with it. Lightweight, it just fills the bill for my preferences in carry.

Excellent product - comfortable to wear and holds gun securely. Recess at front also makes it suitable for handgun with red dot sight.

東京マルイのガスブローバック、グロック１９サードジェネレーションは実銃から採寸されているので問題なく収まる。 グロック１８Cにはきつかった。入らなくはないがスライド抑えながら押し込む感じで実用性は無くなる。 あくまで実銃用であり、高精度なために遊びが無く、エアガンでは正常に収まらない場合があるので注意。
