This is perfect for storing homemade ice cream. I have been using it for a while now, and it's not cheaply made.

I bought these sturdy SveBake containers for storing my homemade 1.5 pint Cuisinart Ice Cream creations. This great, durable and smart style caught my eye because of the way it’s designed for easy storing, fitting perfectly right in the freezer door and, as an added bonus, smartly shaped for doing easy long drag scooping rather than the going through the strong arm bending your spoons - struggling and digging like you’re doing in the other upright cylinder shaped containers that are in this category. Comes in attractive colors. I got the turquoise 2 pack. One is a shade lighter than the other for (id-ing what’s what ) in the package. Arrived the next day in a beautiful box - perfect for gifting.

Excellent quality! We purchased these after we began making our own homemade ice cream (sugar free!) with an ice cream maker and we are very happy with our purchase! The oblong containers are much easier than round containers to store in our freezer and having two means we can store two different flavors of ice cream at a time. We chose the turquoise color and they're very attractive! The three piece design separates easily for cleaning (be sure to dry all pieces thoroughly before reassembly) and the silicone on the bottom keeps the container stationary on the counter while scooping ice cream. The tubs and lids are heavy duty plastic and quite durable. As with most plastic/silicone, I do not recommend washing in the dishwasher (even in the top rack). It may seem fine at first but eventually the intense heat from the dishwasher will warp it. Highly recommended! A+++

We recently started making homemade ice cream and needed a nice functional container to store it in. These fit the bill nicely and were available at a reasonable price. I like the double-sided container which keeps the ice cream somewhat insulated from temperature shifts, so it doesn't crystallize too fast, and also keeps it from thawing too fast when you take it out of the freezer. The long shape makes it easy to scoop the ice cream out. They are easy to clean when you're ready for the next batch. Only thing that could be improved is that the lids don't seem to lock down when closed, and thus the fit feels a little bit loose. I always worry that they will get knocked loose in the freezer. But overall, a very good value for the price.

The items came within a couple of days, packed in sturdy boxes so no damage. The 2 ice cream containers are just the right size to hold up to 1-1/2 quarts of ice cream while leaving room at the top for expansion as the ice cream freezes. The containers are narrow, stack easily, and don't take up a lot of room in my tiny freezer. The elongated shape makes it easy to make nice scoops, and they're easier to handle than store-bought ice cream containers which can get squished and leak. I also like that the lids stay on tight but are easy to put on and take off. I would definitely recommend these containers.

Purchased these to go with our new ice cream maker. They have ample space and store easily. Will probably look for another size that is a bit wider to make transferring ice cream from maker to storage container a bit easier.

I was looking for ice cream container to make ice cream myself. I was using normal Rubbermaid plastic container for it but it was freezing my hand trying to scoop ice cream out. The I saw this as they come in two layers, which solves the problem. There are two containers so I can make two flavors at the same time - chocolate and matcha, which is great as I get bored keeping eating one flavor. The size is perfect and I love the colors. Avoid using too hot water cleaning them. I washed them in the dish washer and the one of the outer container changed shape a little bit and gets hard to stack the inner one. I figured out that I shouldn’t put it in the bottom floor of the dishwasher where the temperature is higher. I was able to stack the deformed outer container good and tight with a little squeeze in the inner container. The other container with everything on the top floor of dishwasher was fine without issues.

My daughter came home with a counter-top ice cream maker. We made a batch and realized we had nothing to store it in. So I did some research and ordered these. My daughter went on vacation so I borrowed her machine to make some sugar-free watermelon sorbet, and these containers were just perfect. They are insulated and sturdy and fit so nicely in the freezer unlike most ice cream containers. And just the right width for that perfect scoop!

I love the product. Perfect size for my ice cream maker (about 3-4 cups before churn). Fits perfect in the freezer and is holding up well.

The ice cream is kept frozen can't use the ice cream scoop as its too flimsy. One of the containers got split, but I think that was due hubby being impatient and heavy handed
