Timeless classic. This movie single handedly revived Ellen's career.
Just so we are clear, Ellen has always been awesome. She made a brave, bold move and it kinda tanked her career. I thought Ellen was done in Hollywood. Casting her in this movie was seen as a bit of a risky choice. NOBODY could have played Dori the way Ellen did. I'm 45. I think I was 21 or something when it came out. We would watch this movie all the time. Now I have a 4 year old son, and he had no idea about Finding Nemo. When we watched it, it was like magic. He laughed, he cried. He cheered and jumped up on the bed. And when it was over, he was ready to watch it again IMMEDIATELY. This movie is timeless.
