Improved my ride
These pedals are very smooth and quiet and seem to be well-built. I replaced a set of old, ball-bearing pedals (new pedals have DU bearings) because they were clicking and making a racket. Do not expect that with these new pedals since no ball-bearings. Not sure about the durability yet, but I ride 100+ miles per week and at this price, if they last a year, I will be happy. Please note, it is important to apply grease to the pedal threads before screwing into the crank. You will be glad later when you try to remove these pedals. My old pedals did not have grease applied to the threads and I almost ruined a pedal wrench trying to remove them. Had to go to my bike shop where they have a more robust wrench and even then, it took considerable effort to remove the pedals. Other than that, the installation of the pedals is very easy. I may provide an update after a few thousand miles on these pedals. Update: After a year and 3 months and just over 5000 miles, these pedals are still as good as new. Had some reservations about the lack of bearings, but have had no problems with the DU bearings and they seem to be holding up well. Highly recommend these pedals. You can't beat the price and quality.

Mechanically old school at an old school price
The bike pedals work great on my ebike. Had trouble with the original set due to my shoes sliding around and slipping off of them. They are old school but I think that's why they work at a very good price.

Strong, Smooth, Light, but a little smaller than default.
Assembly: Has a standard 9/16ths thread (came pre-greased), but while most default plastic pedals can be put on using a 3/8ths wrench, these seem to fit the less-common 5/16ths wrench. Still, went on smoothly for me by hand, and used needle-nose vice grips tighten them up at the end. Impressions: You can tell right out of the gate this is a premium pedal. Solid metal, yet lighter than the plastic pedals that came with all 4 of my bikes. Excellent durability; very unlikely to crack or split after a few years / hundreds of miles, unlike plastic. Super smooth rotating action. I can easily feel the difference in the rotation over my old pedals. More power and less friction with every crank. Impressive. Very good grip as well. The pedals helped me feel more confident in my ride. Downsides: These are slightly smaller (less wide, and closer to the crank) than the beefy plastic ones that come with many bikes in the US. That may not bother some, but I found that with large, wide-sized shoes (US Size 10W or bigger) this could cause fatigue. This is because big-footed folks coming from a pedal with larger surface area will now be pedaling more with the inner / medial balls of their feet -- the pedal doesn't fully cover a large wide-sized shoe's width. Additionally, since the pedal is slightly closer to the crank as well, I found myself unnaturally trying to keep my legs closer to bicycle, which puts some strain on the inner calf after a few miles. I could imagine larger people, commuters, or people without chain guards finding it slightly more annoying. Still, just a minor gripe since that's not most people, and I didn't notice until about 15+ miles because I was getting more power overall by pedaling this way. Happy trails!

Perfect pedals for trainer
These pedals were perfect for my trainer. I added tow baskets and these pedals made that easy.

You Get What You Pay For
2.5 out of 5 stars since only one pedal was in good condition. I needed a cheap set of pedals for a bike I was building to sell. These are definitely cheap but just keep in mind you get what you pay for. The right pedal was excellent. However, the left pedal was a disaster. It felt like it had no grease in it, it was extremely tight and wouldn't turn freely. It honestly looked like it had already been used. I tried to take it apart and grease it but when I pulled the end cap off I noticed the bearings were pressed in and there was no way to get it apart without destroying the whole pedal. I put the cap back on and just installed them since I needed to sell the bike anyway and it was better than none at all. I would have returned them and went a different direction if I were going to keep the bike for myself.

Great Pedal with a Great Price
The pedal fits great, nice quality materials for an amazing price. I put them on an expensive bike and you wouldnโt think they were less than $15

I love these
After 35 years on a mountain bike, my bones and body are catching up to my brain and reminding me that I cannot do all the drops and stunts like I used to. A month ago, my son came over and took my last pair of SPD pedals It was time to return to my roots with the flat pedals. I wanted something that looked familiar to my first Rocky Mountain Fusion and these Wellgo branded pedals brought me back 30 plus years. They work well enough for this old body! Big thanks for having theses available! Peace Be The Journey!

good value for the price -
these are perfectly adequate bear claw pedals. they seem to be good quality all metal construction. for adults they are good for a light cross country / casual transport mtb rider. not big enough for downhill or aggressive xc. just fine for a kid for any use. these pedals have a well known pedal brand name printed on the side "for some reason". once installed this branding is upside down when the pedal is upright (e.g., when the side of the pedal with more grip points is up). this is kind of subtle since you can barely tell which side is right side up but once you see it there it is and i bet it would annoy you if you had paid full price for this brand of pedal. if you want to remedy this issue you can take the cages off the pedals with a phillips screwdriver and reverse the cages to the opposite pedal shaft but that is a little time consuming. this minor quirk may explain why these pedals are very well priced and are not being sold under that brand name.

Thread quality is poor.
Had this product for over 6 months. at first the quality looked great, however I've gradually noticed that my legs were slipping off the pedals. Long story short, the threads of these pedals wern't up to bar. First time that I've had pedals gradually wear off my crank. Giving it 2 stars instead of one because I am a heavy bicycle user, so perhaps it's of user error. But even then, first time i ever had pedals do such a thing to me.
