Worx MAKERX WX739L 20V Cordless Rotary Tool Kit

High quality appliance. Holds a charge for a long time, and maintains excellent torque. I would definitely buy it again.

This tool is super cool! I needed something cordless (or at least that I could use not tethered to a wall plug), and since I have other Worx tools that use the same battery, this was a no-brainer. The ABS plastic sheet I used to make the panel in my car (shown in the pic) was very easy to make with this tool… quick, precise, accurate, and easy. For really tough cuts, it does “bog down” sometimes, but a simple press of the power button gets it going again straight away. The included bits, etc. were icing on the cake. You can’t go wrong with this purchase. And for the price, get outta here. Worx is on my “always buy” list!

always wanted a dremel, never got it, kinda like that clear car engine that was wanted when a kid. This Worx helped to fill that gap in my psyche. i used on my weird toenail and i am now healed(maybe will try on heal next...). nice feature to have the battery separate, that way the tool is easier held for finer projects(like toenails). Also, can run other tools with the same cord and battery hook up. very clever and the Worx works well. Note: also cut off a long screw sticking into my drawer from the handle. its a heavy drawer and strong screw.

This is a great tool for its versatility and accessories, but it can’t really compare to a Dremel. Yes the Dremel is bigger and heavier, but the Dremel also has a lot more torque. For heavier jobs the Worx will stall/stop, so I have to go back to using the Dremel for those jobs.

Works like a charm

This was my second attempt at buying a usable one of these tools. My first Roto tool was even worse. I thought it was defective, until I bought this second one. I must still say that this Roto tool is absolutely WORTHLESS. It has absolulely NO POWER whatsoever. It will stop and lock up when it encounters ANY amount of applied pressure whatsoever, then requiring a power cycle to resume, until it stops again within seconds. Do yourself a favor and buy a Dremel instead. My Dremel plows its way through anything, without any hesitation, let alone stopping. Worx should be ashamed of their release of this product, but one thing for sure is that its likely child safe... LOL

After using Dremel brand rotary tools for years I found that the newer ones are pretty poor. All sorts of issues on the last few that I bought. Worst of all was the poor battery life and it seemed that I spent as much time charging it as I did using it. Battery life is where the Worx tool shines. It charges quickly and seems to run forever between charges. Having a cord between the battery and the tool is a bit cumbersome but still beats having to deal with the frustration of dead Dremel batteries. I have no need (yet) for any of the other compatible tools that work with this battery pack, but I may need something else in the future and not having to deal with multiple batteries is a real plus. Nice assortment of accessories and all of my old Dremel stuff fits too.

I'm a woman and those big dremels are hard to handle, heavy and usually cause wrist pain. This dremel is AWESOME. It is super light, smaller in hand and is excellent all around. This dremel recharges fast, changes out bits quickly and is smooth running. The dial allows you more precision in the speed and the cord doesn't drag you down.

It comes with all accesories shown in the box and a nylon bag to carry everything in the box and a little more. Quality is good, light, ergonomic, silent, brusheless, small diameter to have full control like a pencil. Battery is 1600 mah (enought) and compatible with my others Worx tools, I also have Dremel accesories that share with this. Compared to Dremel, the WX739L have more RPM that is good for very small drill bits but be carefull use on cutting disk because exceed the maximun RPMs. The only cons is the cable that is tuff, rigid.

Bought this for my wife's jewelry making but so far I've used it for many of my projects. Very convenient to have a portable tool.
