"Block Island Rowboat" Art Print

Description

I love this rowboat! In the original photograph there was a lot of "stuff" in the boat - a gas can, some old wooden boards, and a couple of other things. So in my imagination I saw this - and just painted all that other stuff out of it. I love the result! To create this illustrated photographic print, I carefully and lovingly digitally “painted” it by hand, creating an entirely new image. The tools I use are an Apple Pencil with my iPad and a Wacom Bamboo tablet with my Apple iMac. Each original photograph is completely redrawn by hand – every inch of it. I remove elements in the photograph, draw in other elements, change the backgrounds by drawing/painting new ones, change colors if I feel like it, and simply make the image what I see in my head.
