Great texture and very tasty. Excellent substitute for people who shouldn't have gluten!

GREAT!
My husband has diabetes and a meter that proves this does not make his sugar level spike. We love this and use it often in place of wheat pasta. The rotini holds its shape well. I boil it just a little less time than I would a wheat pasta.

Tastes great and replaces flour pasta
This product tastes good and replaces the flour pasta without any problem. This product also has a great shelf life. I would recommend.

Flour-free for me...
Got the dreaded high triglyceride diagnosis a bit ago, and evidently one way to reduce 'em is to decrease consumption of white flour - main ingredient of "plain old" pasta. Barilla Chickpea pasta is made from just one ingredient: chickpeas, so I figured what the heck, give it a try. Pleasantly surprised to find that the flavor is virtually indistinguishable from flour-based pasta. Preparation is the same as well. Maybe a tad longer on the boil to achieve al dente texture. Other bonuses include a whopping 21 grams of protein per 3 1/2 oz. serving, and total 15 grams of healthy fiber. Perhaps my only complaint about the stuff is that it costs a lot more than "regular" pasta. Guess you get what you pay for, though...

I liked this high protein noodle. I would slightly undercook it because the texture can get off putting with any amount of overcooking
