Great feel
Best ball on the market for me

Best ball in golf!
Best ball I've ever used! The first generation weren't so good but these 2016s are unbelievably great. The Truvis tech makes it much easier to see how the ball is spinning and rolling which instantly improves your putting and chipping. You will become a much better putter after seeing the ball roll and learning how to roll it without any side spin. It flies as far as a proV, if not further, spins much better around the greens and putts better than any ball by far. My index is 2 but in my first tournament with this ball I shot -5 on the front 9. People are reporting the lowest scores of their lives with this ball. I wouldn't doubt that in the next few years after every ball has Truvis tech on it, that the R&A and PGA make it illegal. Anything that makes the game too easy becomes illegal, so ... get'em while they're hot. Callaway should pay me for this review!

Get ya some!
I’ve been playing golf a very long time and currently an 8 handicap and around 105mph driver swing speed. I have been using Pro V1’s for a very long time, but recently began trying a few different balls just to bring something new to the game. I’ve recently tried TM Tour Preferred, Pro V1x, Project A, Snell and few other similar balls. Nothing really stood out among that list to make me change until I tried the Chrome Soft. I’ve never been a big fan of Callaway balls so I put off trying these for a very long time, but after playing several rounds I feel this ball is as good as anything out there. I used the 2016 balls (two dots after the word Chrome Soft on the ball). It is long off the tee without a lot of side spin meaning it goes pretty straight even when not hit perfectly, reacts very well to long irons, really nice spin with the short irons and great feel on putts. Has a nice high trajectory that goes a long ways. Around the green on pitches and chips it performs extremely well without too much spin. To me it also depends on what type of greens you have where you play. I am on bent grass greens the most but do play Bermuda greens from time to time. The Chrome Soft is exceptional on Bermuda. On Bent Grass it will spin back a lot if you don’t control your wedge game. All in all, this is going to be my go to ball for at least a few months. I think for the money it performs just as well as the Pro V1 for my game yet gives me something new which has improved my desire to play more golf.

A very good golf ball
My golfing abilities are not upper tier. I am 62 years old, play from tee's at 6300 and below, my drives will go 200-275 yards, a 13.6 handicap and play 3-5 times a week. Some days I look like a golfer. Some days, not so much, but I can manage to get off the course with my dignity most rounds. For the past 2 years I've used the Callaway Supersoft golf ball and really, really like that ball. Reading about this Callaway Chrome Soft golf ball it sounded like this ball would help me with the chipping game by checking up better on greens. What I found is the Chrome Soft sounds waaaay different coming off my driver and has a much lower trajectory. NOTE: I already have to set my driver at 12.5 degrees to get any height so lower arch is what I am used to but not quite this low. However, this Chrome Soft ball seems to roll out about as far as the Supersoft ball. I am going with not quite as far, but very close. Now, as for this Chrome Soft ball and chipping/sticking a green ....... it is superb. It seems to perform better for me with my Sand and A-approach wedges. My 60 degree wedge seems to be to light headed to get this Chrome Soft ball where I need it. From longer distances this Chrome Soft golf ball also checks up better than the Supersoft golf ball. So, overall, I think this Chrome Soft golf ball is likely designed for better golfers than me. Giving up distance is not a good thing for me so I will stick to the Supersoft ball and just try to do better getting that ball where I need it on the greens.

Best Golf Ball On The Market
I have been using the Callaway Supersoft golf balls when they first came out, and have recommended them to all of my friends. Last year I switched to the three piece Chrome Soft and found it to be excellent as well. With the new four piece ball released in 2016 and made in the USA, this is my favorite ball. I am getting more distance, and it is great to putt with. On approach shots the ball lands soft, and my playing partner today asked what ball I was using and I said the Chrome Soft, he used the Titleist Velocity and it was running off the green. I said to switch to the Callaway Chrome Soft, or Supersoft, and so he will buy some on Amazon. Today, I out drove the men with my Chrome Soft and won some money on skins and a low net score. I still use the Supersoft at times when my game is off, and I am hitting over a water hazard (don't want to lose my Chrome Soft in the water), and both golf balls are excellent. I play with the Great Big Bertha adjustable (10.5) men's senior flex driver, and the Great Big Bertha 3 and 5 woods, along with the Callaway Big Bertha irons and hybrids.

like the greens over here
I began playing these two months ago and so brought them to Scotland. I played these, newest of balls, at the world's oldest course, Musselburgh Links. They, like the greens over here, roll so true. Callaway Chrome Soft are a joy to play. They spin like crazy and can turn damn near ninety degrees in the air, if you need them to. The TRUVIS pattern does a wonderful job of illustrating exactly what kind of spin you imparted on green side shots. They also seem easier to find. I brought 6 balls to Scotland, played 36 holes and I'm going home with the very same 6. Love 'em. I played Project A before and these, though in the next price point, make those seem like Rock Flights. They also boast a nice click off irons and a wonderful smack off the big stick. Golf is a game of innovation and this is the next step!

My question is this. Why don't more players play with yellow balls? These balls are so easy to see. When playing this ball always stands out amongst the whites. This ball is probably the best feel I've encountered with Golf balls. I usually play with Pro V's. Being a softer ball I thought I may have lost distance, but it has proved to be just the opposite. Also, I am also witnessing something very new for my game... back spin on the greens.
