I suffer from Chelitis and recently I had a really bad reaction to some chapstick I purchased. My lips became bumpy and then practically scabbed over, becoming peely, incredibly dry ( so dry that I couldn't even smile with out splitting my lips) and peely. Just overall, incredibly gross. Everything I used to mosturize my lips wasn't working because it couldn't get past the dry scally crapfest my lips had become. Everything just layed on top. LITERALLY AS SOON AS I PUT THIS BALM ON, my lips became soft and moisturized. It's like a deep conditioner for your lips. It goes on white but don't be put off bc it clears up very quickly. It's nice and thick as well. If you have super sensitive lips like me, I would suggest applying it with a q-tip so that you won't have to constantly put your lips on the applicator and get bacteria on it. But I was taken ABACK by how quickly and amazingly this product worked. After a week of struggling I can finally smile like a normal person again. It's a little pricy but trust me it is WORTH IT!!!

This is the only lip balm that soothes my dry lips

I’m a lip balm junkie—living in a dry climate, my lips are always dry. This stays on for hours, and is also an awesome overnight treatment, especially after exfoliation. It is somewhat creamy and thick, but in a good way, imo. I wake up with the product still on my lips, and they’re so soft! I also like to put a little over a nude lipstick to give it a little shine, and it keeps my lips from getting dry from a matte lip color. I don’t recommend for men unless it’s used as an overnight treatment, bc it does have a bit of a shine quality to it. It can be used in small amounts, though, and might be better suited for use that way. All in all, this is a repurchase for me, and I almost never re-buy a lip balm product.

I'll admit, I was a Vaseline lip product addict Vaseline Lip Therapy Advanced Petroleum Jelly, 3 Count . I'd buy dozens of tubes of the stuff and have them everywhere around the house, in my purse, my backpack, my suitcase. I'd apply it 5-10 times a day. Then recently I read up a bit on how it's not really that healthy of a thing to be slathering on my lips. Oops. So I went searching for a replacement. Reviews on Amazon lead me to Qtica, so I bought a couple. At first I wasn't that thrilled, for one thing when it's cold the stuff is darned near impossible to squeeze out of the tube, and when it's warm it practically pours out. Secondly, it has a slight menthol scent that I found a little offputting. Then I began using it and I realized that one application kept my lips feeling hydrated and wonderful for nearly a full day. Once in the morning, once at night, and that was it. All those tubes of Vaseline are now being replaced with a couple of tubes of Qtica (and yes, I'm buying a bunch of extra!). This is one of those rare beauty items that actually is worth the price. It's wonderful stuff.

Best lip balm!

This past winter I embarked on a desperate search for a miracle lip balm, because my lips were beyond chapped. My lips were in really bad shape and it got to the point where I became extremely self-conscious about them. I tried lots of different lip balms during my desperation. Failed attempts ranged from classic Chapstick to medicated Blistex to Jack Black Intense Therapy... Ultimately, the money I spent on Qtica was the BEST money that I have ever spent on lip care. After receiving Qtica, I put on a thick coat of Qtica Lip Repair Balm before bed, and when I woke up the next morning I immediately saw some results. Don't get me wrong, my damaged lips hadn't completely healed after one nighttime application, but the results were definitely visible. I continued to apply the stuff about 3-4 times a day (including a thick coat before bed), and after my first full week of use, my embarrassingly damaged lips had almost completely healed. By the end of the following week, my lips looked soft, healthy and quite kissable. To sum up, this lip balm is pretty amazing. It's definitely worth the money and I can't praise Qtica enough. Yes, it's expensive lip balm... But if your lips are damaged, don't let the price deter you. Rather than buying lots of less expensive (and less effective) products, just buy this stuff... You'll be happy you did.

This is a good product which I have used for a few years now. Especially during the winter it keeps my lips most. The one thing I dislike about it is there is no expiration date on it. That is why I didn’t give it a five star rating.

I have huge lips and have always found it difficult not to bite them, for any reason - nerves or chapping. This stuff is like a miracle, it makes my lips feel great and almost like its plumping them with a slight cooling sensation but not that painful sting. It is really thick so it stays on long and it really does repair my lips fast. Like i said i bite them a lot and you can see that I do but leaving this stuff on for just a half an hour or so makes all the boo-boos go away. And if I leave it on overnight they are like new. Since I started using it, literally like a month ago I have gotten 2 more tubes and now I have 1 in my bedroom, 1 in my bathroom, and 1 for my purse to bring everywhere. Also I have really gotten better at not biting them since they chap much less. Really love this stuff.

Makes my lips feel moisturized.

I have tried many different types of lip balms over the last 30 years and this work seems better than any I have tried. It is simply amazing. Yes it is expensive but worth it because it lasts so long. An excellent product.

I wilted at a high end salon years ago and they carried this lip repair. It worked wonders on dry lips from Canadian winters or too much summer sun. I’ve tried other options over the years but was so happy to find this product again.
