Harman Kardon One Portable Bluetooth Speaker Black

Sounds Fantastic...I have many bluetooth speakers & this one's tone sounds very "natural" to me...not too bassy but still has bass, it just isn't really LOW end..which is fine. Super low end bass isn't a "natural" thing but bass drums & beat still has impact. The highs aren't shrill but are crisp. Mid tones are well rounded & rich...Jazz, Blues, Classical sound best on this speaker. Hip Hop sounds fine but the really low end bass notes really aren't there..Metal & Rock sound AWESOME, House music (dance music), Pop, etc...sound balanced & "true" to the music. As for Synth & Electronic types of music it's a mixed bag..Some need more bass than this speaker can deliver, other tracks sound frickin AMAZING! Connectivity is easy enough via nfc or manual bluetooth connecting..AUX is what it is...just plug it in..Construction is top notch & expected from Harmon Kardon. Feels premium & not cheap, not heavy but does have a lil heft to it. I wouldn't say it's worth the original asking price of $200 when it came out back in 2016. However Now in 2018 the asking price here on Amazon is $69.99 (3-13-18) as I write this which in my opinion is worth it when compared to others in the same price range. Some may have more bass but wont sound nearly as clean & balanced as this one. I have no plans to take it out & about, I bought it to stay on my desk plugged in so i can't really comment on battery life. The box says 5hrs..I'll give it that @ 50% volume..turned up any higher & I'm pretty sure the play time will drop a fair amount. I also have an HK Onyx Mini. This speaker is a lil louder over all than the Onyx Mini. The Mini as more bass but doesn't sound as "natural" as this one. I'm not say this speaker is better or worse. They both sound great respectively. The Onyx Mini has bass radiators in the front & rear which give it deeper bass but takes more power to do that so the music isn't as loud over all where as this speaker has a bass reflex port on the top of the unit which gives the bass more of an "open" feel, not as deep but more "punchy" lending to it being able to seem louder over all. I would totally recommend this speaker to those who like easy listening jazz, jazz in general, blues, classical, light rock, 70's & earlier music as such music isn't as bassy.

What an upgrade over my other inexpensive (cheap) bluetooth. Actually has bass and great sound output. Really nice value. Handsome looking and comes with great travel case. Highly recommend

Seems pretty good. i like it. easy to use. Yes the bass is not robust but i found that when it sits on a granite counter top it get better and deeper sound from reflecting off the stone/

Great speaker. The only thing negative is that your can't use it in a wet area but that doesn't keep me for using it very much. I use it when I take a shower but it shouldn't get wet. That is a minor problem. John

With my EQ on my iPhone 6+ set at flat, there's not much bottom end compared to my Nakamichi BTS-80. Battery life is short. I like how it connects real fast.

Solid speaker with full aluminium frame making it quite sturdy, easy to connect and potable enough to carry around. I recommend it.
