These are really good peppercorns. You can tell they’re fresh as soon as you grind them, the smell is strong and the flavor actually comes through.The quality is solid. I like that they’re Ceylon and organic, it just feels like a cleaner, better option than the usual store brands. The peppercorns are also uniform in size, not a bunch of broken pieces or dust at the bottom.I use them in a grinder and a little goes a long way. It actually adds real flavor instead of just tasting like nothing.Also a big bag, so it’ll last a while. Definitely worth it if you cook a lot and appreciate good quality.

I love this pepper. It's fresh. It nicely grinds up. The peppercorns are not like little rocks. They have the right consistency, therefore they evenly grind up. And the flavor is a distinct even tempered pepper flavor. I don't have to add a lot of it to taste the pepper in my foods. It's quality. And because I don't have to use a lot of it. It's value for my dollar. Being organic, it's a clean spice. I don't have to be concerned about it being contaminated, and so forth an unhealthy for consumption. What more can I say? All around, my family and I enjoy it!

All it takes to ruin a bag of pepper corns is for the manufacturer to accidentally include one tiny pebble. Over the years, I have frequently bought bags of pepper corn which had such a pebble in them. I could tell because I found myself crunching down on stone-like bits. (I grind up all the pepper corns before eating them.) Now, with this brand, there was a short period of time when I found myself crunching on such bits, but it didn't last long (only one or two meals). Consequently, I concluded that whatever foreign object was in the pepper corns was quite small. Overall, then, I would say that these pepper corns are mostly clean. It's possible, of course, that it was something else that put the crunch in my food -- I can't know for sure. Since all brands of pepper corns may be at risk of having little pebbles in them, I suggest you buy these and determine for yourself how clean they are.

They smell citrusy. They aren't like telecherry, but the pepper does have a good pepper flavor. A good price for the size of the bag. They seem to be fresh enough, and hopefully the bag will continue to keep the pepper fresh.
