Just what we needed. My son is taking a medicine that is fat soluble for the next few months, and it has come to my attention that he is a big carb eater lol. To help make sure he gets the amount of fat he needs at breakfast and dinner, I made a mixture of peanut butter, crushed pecans, ground flax and a little powdered sugar and then coated in milk chocolate chips (I know dark chocolate would be better but he has to like/eat it!) with oil. I don't enjoy dipping in chocolate so I bought these molds to use instead. These came out a little bigger then we needed, and from the math a little heavier fat content wise too as I had to melt/mix more chocolate to finish filling them... but we'll just cut them in half. The mold itself is good. It shipped only in the plastic it came in so arrived as you see in that picture. Despite arriving bent it works just fine. Since these were just for us I didn't bother putting the mold on a cookie sheet to help transport it and it really was fine... Not to thin or flimsy to move on it's own but still thin enough to pop out the finished bar. So a good thickness. Popped out a beautiful bar. Shiny. I think it's slightly tapered, in case that matters to someone. I didn't use any grease/oil/spray on the mold. Overall I'd recommend.

I started making my own protine bars and these make the perfect size and it so easy to pop them out of the mold when done.

My daughter and I are all about meal prep days and healthy snacks. This has been so much fun to use and have done so many different things with it. To chocolate bars, granola bars and even made custom crayons! Only bad thing is that they are hard to clean if you don’t have a good dishwasher.

Washed and dried then coated with coconut oil. Melt dark chocolate in double boiler on the stove with a little coconut oil or cocoa butter. Remove and cool. Add melted chocolate to your molds in a thin coat. Place on a small baking tray and freeze for 20 minutes. While freezing make tour nice cream with heavy whipping cream vanilla and 2Tbs Monkfruit sugar or sugar substitute to your taste,shake or whip until soft peaks. Remove your trays from the freeze and top chocolate with your nice cream. If you want chocolate on the bottom of the bars,leave a little clearance at the top and once the ice cream is semi solid (about 15 minutes freezer time) top with more melted chocolate. Remember thin layers are easier to eat! I made the mistake of adding too much chocolate and they had to be defrosted, not nearly as much fun to eat. Add nuts or some Caramel drizzle to the ice cream if that makes you happy and enjoy! They popped right out of the molds and I put them in small freezer bags for individual snacks.

Flexible. Not too thick or too thin. The Goldilocks of silicone baking. I used these to make almond keto friendly snack bars. I lined the cavities with some ghee and some without. Both cavities released the bars without effort and without breaking.

Love this. I made oatmeal bars. Portion control is very important for type 2 diabetics.
