Le Pera Maverick Stitch Seat LK-957

Bolts right on to 2012 Street Glide, comfort is beyond reproach. its a comfortable seat with a low profile. I Took a small trip from Southern Virginia to Mid Ohio 7.5 hrs and only had to stop for gas. At the end of my ride i had very little fatigue. Even my Ol Lady likes the wide back seat. she says it's more comfortable than my sundowner seat. I'm 5'8" and can flat foot perfectly at a stop. if your on the taller side order the Maverick Daddy long legs.

The quality of this seat is excellent. It is clear this is a company that takes pride in it's craftmanship. Unfortunately, I found the seat not only uncomfortable, but painful for my lower back. I have since switched to the Harley tall boy.

I have had previous experience with Le Pera Seats. As with my first experience the Maverick is a wonderful seat. Very good support and quality foam that stands up to long rides. I purchased this seat knowing that I would be riding to Sturgis again this year and couldn't bare the thought of riding on the stock FLTR seat.

This seat is comfortable, I should have gotten the one designed for taller riders, I am 6'1" and my backside hits the edge a bit.I expected the back rest portion to be firmer, it is very soft and compresses a lot. I like this seat but I find the foam too soft for me, I will probable get used to it, but when hitting bumps and such you lose some of the seat of your pants feel as the seat moves a bit because of the lack of firmness.

For ~$500, I expected the seat to be more comfortable than the stock seat of my 2017 FLHX. I rode 2 hours immediately after installation and this is my first impression:Dislikes:- INCREDIBLY firm: a polar opposite to the stock seat - I was begging to get off after 30 minutes, and I am told the foam does not get any softer, even after 10k miles- Sits driver 0.5" to 1" HIGHER than stock FLHX seat- Sits driver 0.5" to 1" closer to tank than stock FLHX seat- Thighs of the seat are slimmer than stock, but that doesn't help anything since you're sitting up higher and the seat doesn't squish at all - I'd say it gives me the same footing as stock, and I can feel the heat of the engine more on my thighs- "Backrest" is not a backrest, it's really just a bump-stop like the stock seat, and since this one is vertical it produces an odd angle where your buttock meets the backrestLikes:- Passenger seat is VERY comfortable - because it actually squishes unlike the concrete driver portion- Given the density the driver seat foam and the thickness of the passenger seat, it absorbs bumps well- Probably the best looking 2-up seat with actual passenger comfort- Superb Build quality: carpet-lined, riveted, steel pan, etc. TOP-QUALITY- Naugahyde (faux-leather, vinyl) is just like real leather - cannot tell a difference on the surface
