Works great, I could not have done without it. I have extremely thin skin so I was able to stretch my ears up a size every few days (you're absolutely not supposed to go that quickly, please don't hurt yourself based on my words!). I would scoop a little up on the back end of my fingernail and slather it on the hole and earring, adding more once or twice a day to keep the skin supple. At one point I went from lightweight acrylic to a stainless steel weight and had a painful blowout, this was the only thing I could use to heal the skin (couldn't very well put Neosporin on it!), only took a few days to get healed and back on track. I'm very happy with the way my gauging went, did it myself with a cheap stretch kit here on Amazon (check my other reviews for product) and this here ointment. Perfect combo!

The quality of the stretching balm is great it's waxy so it seals in the moisture and does not leave a residue like some other products do

I was recommended this balm as im new to stretching. this balm made stretching my lobes so easy and smooth. it helps reduce friction and blowouts. I was able to go from 20g to 0g and they healed up nicely. always follow stretching guidelines to reduce further tearing.
