Good
This is a good soup. I bought a 24 pack that was in cups and it had bits of peas, corn, and I liked it a lot. This is a package, no veggies in it. But very tasty for a quick meal.

Great taste, a bit smaller portions
Loved the flavor and texture, and cooking is easy. Only thing is portions are a bit small, but that’s fine for the price

Back in the vegetarian club
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I always feel like I'm the most disloyal vegetarian ever when I have a taste for Ramen noodles. I never thought there were vegetarian options, but the seasoning just tastes like seasoning so I talk myself out of paying attention to the ingredients. (I have not eaten meat in 20 years, but technically, I'm eating the other big brand of noodles so I'm sorta cheating.) And then I happened to see a giveaway of this brand. HOORAY! I bought two boxes. Now I can stop worrying about getting caught "eating chicken." Delicious. Cannot tell the difference.

Soy sauce variety smells like a candle store
Maybe you will enjoy ramen noodles with some soy flavor and a bunch of random spices, but they really ought to explain that on the front of the package. Not what I was looking for.

My new favorite ramen
I've found my new favorite chili ramen. I'd been buying Nissin Top Ramen (Chili Flavor) because it's delicious and nicely spicy and, unlike most or all Maruchan offerings (including their Oriental and Chili flavors), it's actually vegetarian. (Yes, Maruchan ramen tends to have beef products in it even if it appears to be an entirely meat-free flavor.) When I told a friend that ramen was one of the staples of my diet, she told me it has basically no nutritional value (I kinda knew that, but hey, that's what vitamin supplements are for! lol), so I decided to look and see if maybe there was a more nutritionally valuable ramen out there. I don't much believe this ramen is that - the physical product gives every appearance of being the same as Nissin or Maruchan. But Ramen Express's noodles seem to be of a slightly higher quality - the mouthfeel has a smoothness and uniformity to it that makes me think so - and it's still nice and spicy and quite delicious while creating a slightly less rich broth, which is to my personal liking; I used to use less than the full contents of the spice packets because the other brands' broth seemed a bit over the top (no pun intended ;). And, like Top Ramen, it's vegetarian. *And* it does seem to have a shorter ingredient list containing fewer chemical-looking names.I may keep looking for a more "authentic" ramen (if there is such a thing), or I may just start adding in more veggies and other things to make Ramen Express ramen more nutritious. But this is definitely an improvement (in my opinion) over the two most common brands.I was only disappointed in the shipping: Amazon shipped me a flat that looked like it had been run into with a forklift (and the outer shipping box was undamaged and this kind of bashage could not have happened while the flat was in an undamaged box...which means some sequence of careless people knowingly picked and shipped a badly damaged product), so that I get a lot of short, broken noodles in most bowls. But that's on Amazon and not the manufacturer. The product itself is quite satisfactory and I recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative (and possibly a somewhat healthier one) to Nissin and Maruchan. 🙏🏻

HAIRS IN RAMEN BLOCKS!
Wouldn't recommend... I keep finding hairs in the blocks of ramen. At first I thought it was mine and it was my fault but then I was extremely careful and keep finding black hairs in the ramen blocks. Honestly I'm disgusted and will never buy another ramen product unless it's from a name brand. Nong Shim, and Maruchan. I never found hairs on those brands they were delicious. On the back of the box there's black noodles being picked up by chopsticks. Those black noodles are the hairs I kept finding in this ramen. Black hairs included since you want to vegetarian noodles here's extra protein from my head to your bowl.
