SteelSeries Siberia 800, Gaming Headset, Wireless, Dolby 7.1 Surround, PC/Mac/PlayStation 4 / AppleTV/Roku/Mobile

Headset is extremely comfortable, easy to hook up, has excellent sound quality with absolutely no noticeable delay. The mic collapses into the left speaker when you aren't using it. Battery life is impressive, and it comes with a backup battery so you are never left having to charge (unless you forget to pop the discharged battery into the base unit when swapping it out). Highly adjustable and overall an excellent headset for gamers and everyday users alike.

First off, the mic is garbage. Because of the wireless transfer, you are dealing with terrible cell phone quality audio. I bought this for streaming, and I'd have been better off wiring a tin can directly into my computer. The other main issue, is that it's yet another headset that has a terrible small piece of plastic that holds the ear pieces in place. This piece of plastic cannot handle the weight of the ear itself. It will break in time. I need to be using my headset day in and day out, and the stress of use breaks small needed pieces. Not worth $200 for the build quality along. But truthfully, outside of those things, the rest of the headset is alright. No real complaints.

These are a nice set. Good quality and I like the exchangeable battery. The issue I have is that there is a known bug that hasn't been fixed and was reported years ago. If I walk outside the range of the base there is a chance that all my of gaming clients (Eve Online) freeze for an undetermined amount of time. I'm now going on five minutes of staring at my frozen clients. They eventually unfreeze. Many have reported this issue and not specific to Eve Online over a couple years and it's still an issue. As I imagine this is a driver or software issue I will not be buying any of their products again.

J'ai acheté ce casque en remplacement d'un logitech G933 défectueux. Le casque est bien construit, assez solide, et tient bien en place. Le bundle est plus que complet avec de nombreux accessoires. Malheureusement, le son est moins bon que sur le G933. Il manque d'aiguë, le son parait étouffé et les basses sont bien gérées mais moindre par rapport au Logitech. Il a néanmoins des points positifs : On peut brancher plusieurs sources à la fois. Deux batteries. Pas besoin de logiciel pour le configurer. On peut donc le brancher sur un TV ou un Os particulier. Malheureusement si vous n'avez pas besoin de brancher plusieurs sources, ou que brancher un câble de temps en temps ne vous pose pas de problème, ce siberia 800 est trop cher pour le prix demandé.

Hallo, ich verwende das SteelSeria Siberia 800 nun etwa ein halbes Jahr. Sein Hauptverwendungszweck sind Gespräche am PC, ich verwende es aber auch für Shooter wie CSGO oder zum Musik hören. Für all diese Dinge ist das Headset hervorragend geeignet. Mit der "Kommandozentrale", in der auch der Austausch-Akku geladen wird, hat man immer schnell alle verschiedenen Einstellmöglichkeiten griffbereit, und wenn man sich eigene Profile anlegt kann man sehr angenehm zwischen Surround-Sound beim Shooter, und angenehmen Stereo-Sound für Musik hin und herwechseln. Einzig wer sehr gerne wirklich sehr laut Musik hört, könnte von diesem Headset enttäuscht sein, mir ist es auf ca 90% Lautstärke grade Recht, aber an manchen Tagen, bei lauter Musik, würde ich mir eventuell schon die 110% wünschen. Das Headset kann mithilfe der "Kommandozentrale" an diversen Soundquellen angeschlossen werden, bei mir aktuell über USB am PC, am optischen Kabel wurde mir der Ton etwas zu leise. Das Smartphone kann z.b. sowohl an der "Kommandozentrale" als auch am Headset selbst per Aux-Kabel angeschlossen werden. Zum Akku kann ich mich bisher auch nur positiv äußern, grundsätzlich ist es sowieso eine grandiose Idee den Akku austauschbar zu machen, ich benötige nur ca 10 Sekunden zum Tauschen, danach ist das Headset wieder voll aufgeladen einsatzbereit. Die "Zentrale" zeigt schon nach etwa 4-5 Stunden nur noch 1 von 4 möglichen Ladebalken, aber bis der Akku tatsächlich leer wird, vergehen nochmal 5 oder mehr Stunden, das Headset warnt vor dem leerwerdenden Akku, indem es in regelmäßigen Abständen Warnsignale ausgibt. Die Reichweite ist für eine mittelgroße Wohnung vollkommen ausreichend. Ich sitze leider ganz im Eck der Wohnung am PC und nach 5m Raum und 6m Flur bricht der Empfang beim Betreten des Raumes ab, aber durch die dicke Steinwand rüber ins Schlafzimmer funktionierts tadellos. Momentan ist das Headset wohl ca. 100€ billiger zu bekommen, als ich damals bezahlt habe(330€). Ich rate jedem, der mit diesem Headset liebäugelt, schlagt zu, ihr werdet nichts bereuen! Zum Schluss noch schnell zusammengefasst, Pro/Kontra: Pro: -Sehr edles Design, aber ohne motzige LED-Stimmungsbeleuchtung, lediglich eine kleine LED am Mikro zeigt an, ob es gemuted ist, oder nicht. Mir gefällts. -Wunderbare Tonqualität, hervorragende Variabilität, dank "Kommandozentrale" -Schön klare Tonqualität des Mikros... wurde mir gesagt. -Ausreichende Reichweite für mittelgroße Wohnungen. -Angenehmer Tragekomfort, Headset bereitet nach ein paar Tagen Eingewöhnungszeit selbst bei meinem Wasserschädel keine Kopfschmerzen. -Akku hält sehr lang (2-3 Spielabende bei mir), ein Akku-Wechsel dauert ca 10-20Sekunden. Kontra: -Könnte lauter sein, aber gerade noch in Ordnung. -Könnte ein paar Gramm leichter sein, aber ich empfinde es noch nicht als störend.

Recomiendo estos auriculares a cualquier persona que juegue tanto a nivel profesional como a nivel usuario. Son muy cómodos, yo los llevo a veces durante más de 4 horas y no siento molestia en las orejas. Que vengan dos baterías recargables es un puntazo. Tarda aproximadamente unas 12-14 horas en agotarse la batería, pero al tener un indicador en todo momento del nivel de carga tanto de la batería que se está cargando como la que llevas incorporada, nunca te quedarás sin. Además, carga muy rápido. En poco más de una hora está al máximo de batería. El alcance de la señal es increíble. Vivo en una casa con tres plantas y recibo la señal perfecta e ininterrumpidamente de una planta a otra. Calidad de audio y micrófono excepcionales. La única pega, si alguno lo considera así, es que sólo está en inglés y la instalación se me hizo un poco difícil de seguir, pero nada que no se resuelva leyendo un poco y probando. Otro factor a tener en cuenta es que te viene con todo tipo de cables para cualquier tipo de consola o aparato en el que lo quieras conectar (PS3, PS4, XBOX, TV, PC...) Una compra muy inteligente y satisfactoria.

Lets be honest - They are expensive. And the reason for this is honestly the best headphones you can buy at the moment. I had read another reviewer complain that he had them for something like a week and picked them up oneday and they had snapped/broke in his hands. I would seriuosly ponder the method of picking these up if you can break them that easily (i figured heavy handed?). The cups (overear) are very comfortable - after say around 4/5 hours max they do irritate my lugholes, that just me but its not a major thing. The batteries design and the easy slot in/out for charging them is great. I find the little notch sometimes tricky getting the replacement out but again, its minor issue. The twist lock on the cups is easy enough. The mic is great - well, I assume so as after about a day, I thought lets see if the pickup is any good with it retracted. It is, to say the least, It stays in its place and never comes out (less possibility of a break or issue). For storage, I simply slip these over the monitor and thats it. You can buy a stand for these, but seriously!! Don't bother. Sound is impressive, I play Battlefield 1 and the surround sound is very good. I am not an audiophile but to me, the sound hits all the highs and lows you could want - Listening to music is also a nice experience. Its crisp and I havent had a problem with crackle or anything like that. I even unplugged these and took them up stairs so I could watch a film in bed and so not to wake the the children, it was not too much of a hassle - power and usb cables and thats it. Plugged in the audio cable from the TV and the menu system is a jog wheel and one button! Its so easy to setup - I havent mentioned that really, because its so intuitive. Definitely a long term investment for this price! Arctis 7's have just arrived so if you need similar but on a lesser budget - go for those.

cuffie molto care, ma se si fa attenzione alle variazione di prezzo o al wherehouse si possono portare via a prezzi buoni, sono comode, ben costruite e solide, hanno una dotazione di cavi eccellente in modo di poterle usare un po' per tutti gli usi che possono venire in mente, a differenza di altre marche che presentano lo stesso modello in varianti a cui alla fine cambia solo i cavi inseriti ma uno si trova a poterli usare poi solo su un dispositivo..qui invece si possono usare quasi ovunque. Collegamento tramite set box con cavi ottici, in modo da non creare problemi alla fruizione dei contenuti 4k come invece capita con molte cuffie passanti per HDMI… il box set è abb grandicello ma di pregevole fattura, e con schermo a cristalli liquidi in modo da poter gestire da li le varie opzioni come fosse un mini computer… io l'ho collegato a x box one e in 5 minuti ero pronto ad usarlo ,configurazione e istallazione facili e molto logiche non servono nemmeno le istruzioni se si ha un minimo di idea . L'audio è ottimo in stereo ma diventa stupendo se si attiva il Dolby digital, anche con consolle si puo avere un 7.1 molto convincente...non hai livelli del vero 7.1 con impianti dolby dedicato e con casse dedicate...ma per essere tutto in cuffia è un effetto veramente "spacca mascella". Sicuramente un vantaggio nei giochi fps competitivi sentire esattamente la direzioni dei vari rumori e spari.L'effetto poi è variabile da gioco a gioco….probabilmte alcuni hanno implementata meglio il suono spaziale altri meno...ma questo non è colpa delle cuffie. Doppie batterie in modo che mentre se ne usa una nelle cuffie l'atra si ricarica nella basetta pronta per usarla alla bisogna...per ora durano moltissimo...vedremo con il tempo… in questi giorni che fa caldissimo(quasi 38 gradi)i padiglioni in pelle fanno un poco sudare,ma non risultano mai scomodi . Unico punto a sfavore per ora è l'attenuazione dei rumori esterna che non è molto buona...se avete persone vicino che parlano sentirete il brusio di sottofondo….peccato perché se fossero state più isolanti sarebbero state perfette…. Cuffie consigliate…. per dubbi chiedete pure tramite domande. Buona vita
