Fisher-Price Octonauts Kwazii's On-The-Go Pod

This is a great show and line of toys. My kids, 3 and 6, both love this show. To be honest, I like to watch it too. These toys are fun for both ages, they hook onto the Octopod, which, by itself is not a very fun toy in my opinion, but the kids who love this show won't care, they will lose their minds when they see it. Add on all the On-the-go pods, and it does make a neat play set, my 3 year old plays with it daily. The amazon price cannot be beat, before x-mas, the prices were a half or sometimes a third of what you would pay anywhere else! One thing tough, if you are buying a few of these sets, each one comes with a character toy. So if you go crazy on these toys, meaning the gup vehicles and other playsets, you will have multiple copies of each character, in some cases in different outfits, not that my kids cared at all, just fyi.

My son is happy with this. He can add it to his Octonauts playset. He has the Barnicle's one as well. Only disappointment is that we can't seem to find the other 2 On-The-Go Pods to match/complete the set. Seems that they are sold outside the USA only... very dumb!!!

Kwazii's pod looks just like his room in the show. It has his telescope and sword as well as his mast-shaped scratching post. There is also a gold mask that fits over Kwazii's face so he can also wear it. The scratching post moves from side to side by moving the little red lever on the side. Underneath the door is his bed so when a Pirate is tuckered out he can take a cat nap! The pod fits with the Octopod play set by removing one of the shallower pods that come with it. The little figures can then slide through the opening (a hatch opens or can be left shut) at the bottom of his observation deck to get to the launch bay. Be careful of the removable pieces, though. The sword especially is quite small and could be easily swallowed by a 3 year-old. I'd keep my eye on him or her while playing with this set. It's still worthwhile, though. Everything fits inside the pod, which closes up to a size that can fit into many purses or a diaper bag if you carry one. It's quite useful for bringing with you for areas that involve a long wait and might not be so kid friendly, like the doctor's office (ours recently stopped putting out toys and books because of cross-contamination).

Although I got what was described and therefore have to give a fair positive review on that part, these do not work with the Octopod nearly as well as we'd expected, which was kind of the point.

I ordered Peso, Shellington, and Kwazii's pod because my son already had Barnacles and when it had came in, the packaging said Kwazii but it has Barnacles in it...

My sons love Octonauts and this is no exception! We have the Octopod and my sons love that this can be added to it to give more active play (versus the original 1/2 shell pods that come with it). And it can also be used alone for Kwazii to have adventures. The only caution I would give is that it does have several small parts (especially the tiny sword) that should be kept away from small children. We make sure to keep those parts separate so our youngest ones don't get them and also to prevent them from getting lost. We are planning on getting the other 3 pods in this set as well since this was a hit. It puts together nicely and has held up very well to 4 young boys so far.

Awesome toy to add to our Octopod. In comparison to the other on-the-go pods Kwazii's isn't quite as fun and interactive as the others, but my 4 year old loves it and thinks the mask is hysterical. The mask will fit on any of the Kwazii figures you might have. One of my son's favorite parts is that the accessories between the pods are almost all interchangeable so he can add Kwazii's cat post to Barnacles pod, or the spyglass to Shellington's pod, etc.

We bought the big Octopod and all four character-specific pods. The pods that come with the Octopod are generic. The individual pods have items related to the character. Kwazii's pod has some interesting things - the sword, mask, and telescope. When all four pods are on the Octopod, it's cramped if they are all open and the pods can pop off easily causing frustration. A lot of times my daughter just lays the pods out on the floor. If you have an Octonaut lover, I recommend the character pods. Our daughter has been playing with them for about 3 yrs so they have held her interest.

Super als Ergänzung zum Oktopod für richtige Oktonautenfans. Hoffentlich kommen bald auch die anderen Zimmer in Deutschland auf den Markt. Qualität wie bei den anderen Oktonautenspielzeugen.

This product fit perfectly into the Octopod . It's a sturdy and fun addition to the set!

Perfect addition to the Octopod, or for use as a standalone mini-toy to take out and about. Fold-out wall and plank open up to reveal lots of moulded details such as a bookcase, desk and mask; to which a detachable mask and telescope can be attached. A Pirate flag sticker adds further detail. The floor has a lift-up hatch to allow the slide to be used while attached to the Octopod. The other floor sways with a lever and has a detachable scratching post (of course what every cat needs). The pod folds nicely in on itself to form a compact ball, with Kwazii on the outside. Kwazii is of course uniquely dressed in black with a pirate Kwazii logo on the chest.

Grandsons was very pleased!
