One of the reviews stated the part they received was not the one they purchased. Can anyone else verify that claim, that received a different part?

I received what I purchased (as pictured) but it did not fit my blinds, nor was it the size or orientation needed for door-length vertical blinds.

Does this accommodate the slide strip for spacing the louvres?

Not quite sure what you mean by slide strip. Go to Fix My Blinds website (https://www.fixmyblinds.com/identify-your-part/mini-blind-diagram.html) to identify the part under Mini Blinds Parts Diagram. I have no problem with my louvres upon installing replacement.

Does this work with most brands of vertical blinds? Looks similar to mine but not exactly the same.

Not sure if it works with all vertical blinds. It worked for mine.
