This product was delivered promptly and was well packaged for product protection. It took about 4 hours to initially charge this battery. After it was fully charged I used it to jump start a Toyota Corolla battery that had discharged after a trunk light had been left on inadvertently for several hours. The car started up immediately. This car started and drove normally until it was not able to be driven for 2 weeks (it was blocked in its carport due to road construction and nobody attempted to start the car during that time). Again the EverStart battery jump started the car battery immediately. The car has been starting and running normally since without needing to be jump started. I have also used this EverStart battery to successfully charge cell phones,blue tooths, kindles and other electronic devices easily. The EverStart Lithium Battery comes with easy to follow written instructions in pamphlet form, on the jump start cable box and also on the battery itself. It also comes with a home AC adapter for household electrical outlets, a12V DC car adapter, jump start cables, the jump starter itself and a portable bag with a carrying strap.The jump starter itself has an excellent light on it. To activate the light ,click the power button rapidly X 2 (reminds me of clicking a mouse), another click of the power button puts the light in flashing mode. One click of the power button returns the light to non-flashing mode.Two rapid "mouseclicks" turn off the light. EverStart Lithium Battery also has some nice safety features: 1. The jump start cables are different lengths to avoid accidental touching of the metal clamps 2. it has an red/green indicator light on the jumper cable box that indicates when the cables are correctly or incorrectly connected and when the car is ready to be jump started 3. written instructions as noted above. This product so far has been easy to use and has worked great for me. I would have liked the portable bag to be a bit larger. I am unable to pack the Everstart Lithium Battery and all of it's accessories in the bag provided. However, that may be due to a deficit in my ability to pack- maybe others are effortlessly packing everything in the provided bag . I like the idea of having this item around in case power in the house should go offline.So far I think this is a great product that works as advertised. I'm definitely glad I bought it. It has already paid for itself.

I belong to a car club. We were recently at a car show when one of my fellow club members ended up with a car that would not start. Another member had one of these they had never used. Pulled it out, hooked it up, and bam the car started right up. I immediately whipped out my iPhone and opened my Amazon app and added this to my cart. There is no good reason to not have one of these on hand. It is compact, easily fit in most glove boxes or in the trunk.I have not used mine and hope to never need it. But if I do I have confidence it will get me going. I have seen it work. It also has a USB connector so you can charge your P.E.D. in a pinch. Comes with alligator clips for a car battery, cigarette lighter connector, and AC 110 charger, and nice durable case.

I bought 2 of these. Neither one would keep a charge

So far, so good. Everstart is a brand of battery sold at Walmart. I first found this on the Walmart for about $10 more. I checked Amazon and got a better price. It feels good, has a carry case, and seems to hold a charge good. The main thing I like is the flashing LEDs that let you know that it is charging, and how far it has progressed toward a full charge. I got this for my wife's car so we both feel better knowing that its there. Her car has a nasty habit of eating batteries! After about two years, they just die. No warning, just a quick death. So far we have been lucky that it happened close to home, but with her travel schedule, I'd feel better knowing I can talk her through this rather than having to rely on a tow truck or the benevolence of a stranger.

The Everstart Lithium Battery Jump Starter is an excellent tool and valuable piece of safety equipment. It has performed amazingly well in rescuing motorists, starting lawn and garden tractors, motorcycles and so on. I was surprised at the power that is stored in such a small package. The utility as a flashlight and power source for portable devices are just valuable bonuses. It is well-made, compact, and comes with excellent documentation and carry case. Be sure to follow the directions for care and safety. I plan to place one is each vehicle and give them as gifts to loved ones.

fantastic. have the light while camping, late night workings under the hood. Kept my phone charged and playing music on both of those times as well. Saved some dude at a drive in. Reliably holds charge for about a month. Then, I'd bring it home and connect overnight. Durable and multifunctional. Well worth my hard earned coin.

I leave this item plugged into my car charger to be sure that it will be charged if I ever need to use it. Unfortunately it does not regulate the input current to prevent over-charging and it seems that it has over-charged the battery, which expanded and deformed the plastic case, although the LED light still works well and for all I know the jump-starter may work; I have never tested it. This product could be improved by including circuitry that prevents overcharging of the battery.

Neighbor hood hero. The day after I receive this battery my neighbor has the hood of his car (Ford Escort) up and is attempting to jump start it. No luck. I think hmmm, this might be a chance to try this battery. I had plugged in this Everstart battery the night before to get a full charge. I let him know I have something that might help. I needed to be convinced myself. This battery seemed small and light. I checked his car battery, only 7 volts. I hooked up the Lithium battery with the cable provided and ask him to turn the key. It starts right up! Everyone cheers and I'm feeling pretty good about this little battery. It works.
