OnStage On-Stage KSA7575+ u-Mount Mic Attachment Bar for Keyboard Stands

Got this for my wife's keyboard. Added a 19" gooseneck mic extension and it works really well. Fits well in the round tube end of the Rockville RKS30X Double X Braced Keyboard Stand we are using. I like how easy it was to install and it's rock solid. It's also easy to remove for transport. With ours I also attached a tray and phone holder that was on the mic stand. To have a better mounting spot for those I installed two 3.35" mic stand extension tubes. Best of all we don't have to deal with a boom style mic stand. Cleans up the front area of the keyboard.

Mount works really well in my tube style keyboard frame and is very secure when in place. However, the threads that connect it to my boom stand strip/wear out very quickly. The metal/alloy used does not hold up to multiple uses. I have had to replace this mount and the mini boom stand(both from Onstage) multiple times because of stripped threads. This may not be a problem in permanent setups, but if you have to tear it down every night like me, this piece will wear out very quickly. I recommend purchasing a higher quality brand such as K & M if you are in this situation.

I use this so that I don't have the bottom of a stand around my feet. I put 2 M-Audio Hammer 88's on an on=stage super rack and the post sits securely in the 1" square tube end.It holds up nicely to the boom and 2 mics that are at the far end. I think it's just perfect!

Highly recommend. It works on my keyboard stand and holds up my 15" laptop. Metal material. Nice design

Works great and stays in place. My only complaint is that if you’re using it to attach a mic arm to your keyboard stand, the boom arm may shake a bit from the impact of your hands on the keys... otherwise it’s great. I plan on using a second one with a laptop stand mounted to it. Hoping that stays sturdy enough.

This fit in the end of my top tier key stand no problem. BUT!! It says ALL stands. Not true, it won't work on your Quik Loc stands. As my add on tier for Quik Loc has a tiny hole, so you have to buy their add ons. My tablet holder will also not work as the end is not like a mic stand end with the clip missing which is what I need for my ipad holder, but should work for any that has a threaded bottom like the bottom of a mic clip. That said though, it is well made and will work on my other keyboard stand. I'm buying a short adapter for it so it will work for me with my holder.

This attachment does what it is supposed to do well and at a great price. It attaches to the stand firmly with no slippage. It holds a laptop tray stable as long as the thumbscrew for changing the adaptor from threaded to u-mount is screwed tight.I would however recommend that potential buyers consider the height of their keyboard on the tier under the stand before they commit to the purchase. It really is quite short, so I am unable to mount my laptop on the stand above my electric piano at all and whilst I am able to mount it above my midi controller it does obscure a number of the controls.

Very handy little gadget. I have 2. One with a boom for the mic. and one to hold an iPad. No danger of a mic stand falling over now.

Took a chance and bought this at discount in "acceptable" condition. It was like new.So I inserted the expander into the keyboard stand, tightened it up, and was really pleased by how sturdy the adapter was. Next was a surprise bonus - it included a micro boom stand in the box. This made it even better, and finally I attached a gooseneck 16" to the boom and a mic. Can't wait for my keyboard playing friends to enjoy it! Only minor drawback was that the "quick lock" option was not included. This didn't affect my plans for it anyway. (it's a small insert that probably got lost - the micro boom more than makes up for it!) . Buy this product if you have no room for space-hogging mic stands. - I will try spray painting the gooseneck to black.
