These belts are super nice, whether you’re dressing up or going casual. Cutting directions were spot on, these belts are a perfect fit for me. My only complaint is after a few months, the paint started peeling/chipping off the black one.

My husband LOVES... LOVES... these Chaoren Leather Ratchet Belts. We used to shop for belts in stores, every few months because he would wear out the leather at the buckle area. We don't buy those 'regular' belts anymore, since I bought these Ratchet belts for him. For years he has told several other men friends about how great the belts are. We always have a couple of new belts on hand for future use. We have given several sets as gifts. You can size them to you as needed. The ratchet buckle is the star of this purchase but the leather belts are very nice as well. We will continue to purchase.

Today is 7/16/2026 I am updating my second updated review. My husband put his belt on 2 days ago just like he always does only that day was different in the fact that the lever jammed and you couldn't unlock it. We tried everything to get it off but there was no budging the ratchet it wouldn't unlock no matter what we did. I ended up having to cut the belt into in order to get him out of the belt. So, be aware that the belt may jam after awhile and you need heavy duty scissors to cut it off but it is a great belt that has lasted a long time. This is an updated review: I purchased these belts on November 28,2024. My husband has only worn the one belt. He has has to take the buckle off and cut off part of the belt due to it breaking after a year. Today, 5/24/26 he just showed me that the belt is now cracking and coming apart in several other places. All in all he really likes the ratchet belt he just wishes they were real leather so they would last and be more durable. When it’s time to replace the second one which he hasn’t broken out yet he will look for one that’s real leather for a working man’s belt. He says this is a church and retired man’s belt. But all in all it’s a good belt.

I ordered these for my husband, They came beautifully packages i might add. Great if your giving for a gift. Everything is good quality and it arrived in a reasonable time. my husband hasnt cut them to size yet to use but they seems like they will hold well. The buckles are very nice that come with them.

Both belts seem well built, the click to tighten is a game changer. Cannot commnet on the durability, etc. as they are only a month old, but no issues so far.
