First of all, this is an updated review. I changed it from a 3 to a 5 star rating. Pros: * Nice and standout design * Weight is solid, but some may find it too heavy compared to regular lighters * Filling mechanism is super easy and mess-free (loosening tool is included) * Colour combination is subtle and pleasant * Solid construction Con(s), though no deal breaker: * The sides are smooth finish, which makes the lighter slippery, especially if handled with oily hands. * Wished they had added some texture to sides to prevent this issue. Observations: * It is also bigger/bulkier (see uploaded pics for comparison) * If you are left-handed, it may take some practicing to manage proper striking * The rotating front, while I thought it pointless at first, is rather entertaining while holding it. It prevents one from messing with the leveler, causing wear and tear. * The seller's pictures show there are three screws at the bottom of the lighter * But there are only two (as per seller, this is a new design); one for the flint and the other for the fuel, but: * Very IMPORTANT: the flint screw (which is the long spring) is positioned on top/inside of the built-in screw that holds the bottom part to the rest of the lighter. * DO NOT lose the tool to loosen the screws; it is unique in removing that SPECIAL "built-screw" when changing the wick. * As per my request, the seller uploaded a video on how to change the wick under "Q&A".

I love this lighter. It looks great on my desk with my pipes

It works as a lighter no doubt, but the spinny thing in the middle is set in crooked so I don't expect it to last long. Other than that I feel that the wick is going to be a pain to replace...poor wind resistance but good Chinese quality, nice action simple to use

Great lighter very fancy

Flint was not installed. They do provide another flint, o-rings, and wick, so I installed the new flint. However, the instructions are not very good, even for a lighter that seems intuitive. It is difficult to get the flint in, and the spring feels like it wants to bend to the point of breaking. Once the flint was installed, the trick to light the wick was not explained, and even the product video does not show it clearly. You have to really flick the thumb mechanism as shown in this video. It isn't very windproof. I have a ceiling fan on my deck, and it was strong enough to snuff the flame.

I am a cigar smoker and use different style lighters for lighting my cigars. So I do have experience with lighters, that being said, this lighter is terrible, it is very difficult to light, if you can get it to light at all. In my opinion, do not waste your hard-earned money on this lighter. I do not recommend buying this lighter.

Very lackluster. It looks great, the spinning mechaninc is cool, and the rollback light feature is a great idea, but in execution, it's very inconsistent. Takes many tries to get a light, with full lighter fluid and a nice wick. Seems the flint is spaced to far away, and it's got some resistance to it, so afternoon many attempts you're thumb really starts to feel it. Looks 7/10. Functionality 2/10 Ease of use is horrible
