This really is a strange item to me, but with my back pain due to fibro and RA, and bursitis I had to try it. IT HELPS! My back pain and hip pain has been reduced by 75%, just by laying on this 20 minutes a night, on the floor. I have not gotten any relief in my neck, so I can not speak to any other body parts. I also have a son who works for FedEx, and he says this has helped him a lot as well, to relax and sleep well at night, due to before he had a lot of leg cramps. It is very strange the first time you lay on it, as it sorta hurts, but not really. I do not advise that you move around while laying on it, as that is what hurts. The first time I left my shirt on, and then after a few times, I was able to use it on my bare skin by just wearing a sports bra, or simply lifting my shirt up. I lay it on the floor, and watch tv for around 20 minutes and that helps me to not have my usual leg cramps at night, and throbbing hip pain. This really is fantastic!

So, I saw a Facebook ad for one of these that cost over $100. I read the reviews, and decided I really wanted to try one, but was not willing to pay $100 for something I wasn't sure would work for me, from a Facebook ad for a company I never heard of. So... I hit Amazon and found a bunch and picked the cheapest one that would get to me the fastest, figuring with Prime, I could return it easily if it didn't work. Well, it does. I am so pleased with this purchase, and I am flabbergasted at how well it does exactly what it says it will do. The first time you lay on it, it WILL HURT. It is tolerable, but it hurts. But...about halfway through the 10 minutes, it stopped and I got a warm, fuzzy, relaxing feeling. I've been doing 10 minutes and each time, its easier and when I finish, I feel loose, relaxed and my back and muscle pain feels much better. I'll be increasing my time soon. If you have wanted one of these, please do not hesitate.

This is my first experience with one of these mats, so I was happy to read in the instructions that beginners could use a lightweight sheet while adapting. I initially tried this without the sheet, but discovered that I needed to move more slowly and was able to remain on the mat much longer the second time. I wasn't sure what exactly to expect. The box refers to a bed of nails and the health that is increased. The mat and pillow have little round plastic pieces with points that are meant to stimulate your pressure points (acupressure). It's a good quality and comes with a nice carry bag, should you want to travel with it. They suggest lying on it for 10 minutes to start and say you can use a sheet. I did need to use a sheet - the first few minutes were too intense. I felt my heart rate rising. After a week or so, I can now do a full 10 minutes without the sheet. I definitely feel more relaxed after having used it and have gained some help in dealing with my headaches when I use the pillow.

I bought this acupressure mat to help me relax and maybe help me with my back pain. 7 years ago I had a lil accident and my back on my right side has been hurting since then. When I did consider getting help and was referred to a massage therapist, the pandemic came, and so I stayed home and didn't attend any of the sessions. Today is the first time I used it. When I put my back on it the very first time, it didn't hurt like I expected; I was wearing a silky top as a barrier to protect my skin. However, my back started itching like crazy as if there was something on the mat that I was allergic to. I quickly googled to see if it's a common reaction to these kinds of mat. Apparently, it is not. I had the idea to do it bare-skin. That's when it worked for me. Yes, I felt the pain from the "needles" sinking into my skin; my blood was pumping; after some time I felt a cold feeling, and then after some more time a warm feeling. It was not uncomfortable. I couldn't feel much on my right side. I turned a little and lifted my arm to feel something and I did. I stayed on the mat for 15 minutes. Yes, my back was all red with little "holes" on the skin. But, I felt great. That's why I stayed so long. I felt better. Guess what? My right side feels better and I can turn my head towards my right shoulder without pain. I am not saying it is a miracle/cure-all product, but it works and can help you feel better. I did for me.

Bought this on a whim after having severe back/muscle pain from rotated lumbar vertebrae. I am 5' 9" but found this product just a bit too short. I can't target my shoulders and lower back at the same time. It takes some getting used to and is definitely painful at first, but it works well after 5-10 minutes and can help with short-term relief. I did not think the pillow was useful and since it's so bulky and hard to store with the spikes I discarded it. I would recommend looking for a mat of larger size.

I am actually lying on this acupressure mat while I’m writing this review. This mat and pillow are amazing. I have a lot of aches and pains, migraines, insomnia, and every time I get off the mat I find myself feeling significantly better. When I use it before bed I sleep better. I don’t know how it’s doing whatever it is that it’s doing, but I’m a big fan. I do know it’s relaxing and it’s improving my circulation and easing my pain. If you’re considering buying this I reccomend that you go for it. It’s inexpensive for the benefits, it comes in a choice of pretty colors, and it has a little mesh drawstring bag to keep the pillow and mat neatly stored in when you’re not using it. It’s also small enough to travel with, which I will absolutely be doing.

La sera, prima di dormire, mi aiuta a rilassarmi e arrivo a 8 ore di sonno filato, cosa che davvero non mi capitava da almeno dieci anni. Me lo avvolgo anche intorno ai cosciotti e la circolazione riparte alla grande. Standoci sopra in piedi (anche se è davvero dura, io resisto a fatica un minuto), poi si cammina più leggeri. Non ho provato la marca più famosa, ma questa mi dà tutto ciò di cui ho bisogno.

I ordered this to try and help relieve upper back tension from working at a desk all day. It comes with a nice storage bag and seems well made and good finish. I had no issue using this straight off for ten, fifteen minutes at a time and I did feel it was helping ease various aches and pains. However, I have since been having some investigations for possible heart related issues (not as a result of using this!) and my consultant advised me to discontinue use of this whilst we figure it out and that they are not recommended for people with certain medical conditions, so do check if you have any doubts. This is not the fault of the product though, hence I'm keeping the high star rating. Just hope I will be able to start using it again soon.
