Mini Clay World Pet Adoption Truck

The Klutz Mini Clay World Pet Adoption Truck Kit was a huge hit with my 9-year-old! It’s the perfect mix of crafting, storytelling, and imaginative play. The kit comes packed with everything you need—bright, easy-to-use oven-bake clay in 7 colors, 8 punch-out sheets for building the truck and accessories, faux fur blankets, and even little brads to hold everything together. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the clay is very workable—perfect for younger hands but detailed enough to challenge older kids too. My child had a blast creating tiny pets and setting up the adoption truck scene. The finished product is absolutely adorable and makes a great display piece or play set. I also love that it encourages creativity and hands-on focus. It kept my child busy for hours and sparked lots of imaginative play afterward. Definitely a great gift for any crafty kid or animal lover in the 8–12 age range! Highly recommend for birthdays, holidays, or rainy day fun.

In a world of screens and electronics good ol’ Klutz comes through with a fun, hands-on, creative toy. I’ve given this as a gift many, many times for kids (mostly girls) ages 7-10 and it’s always a hit. It’s a nice price point for a classmate gift- not too expensive but not cheap either. The directions are easy to follow and even clumsy hands can create super cute animals. I highly recommend this product!

This is an adorable craft kit! The extra touches like the cozy pet blankets, and the cardboard signs, really make this a fun project. My kids did need help assembling the van but could do all the clay on their own. It’s a super cute project for an afternoon to keep them busy.

Excellent printed as well as constructed product. Great for children to learn how to read & understand instructions manuals. Which is the next point. The instructions are well written and easy to understand. Props to the quality even of the manual. It’s beautiful! Almost didn’t want to get that dirty ha. So many tasks one can do in one kit. It’s gives the user many hours of play while creating. Great gifts for children as well as adults who are looking for a hobby. I gifted this along with the camper (sold separately) for my 8 yr old daughter. She loves it! As a graphic designer myself, I’m at truly astonished by these neat kits. I’m sure a lot of time and effort went into the labor of designing them which is why I wouldn’t give this product any less that 5 stars. Cheers!

This is a cute set but it didn’t come with very much clay and the clay is pretty sticky - so much so that the colors stick to hands and then mix with the other colors. It’s more expensive than what it should be for what you get in my opinion, but my kids did love it and have fun with it. It was fairly easy for them to work with the clay, but I had to build the truck for them.

My 8 year old asked for a clay sculpting kit "with animals" so I chose this one - and I'm so glad! This adorable set was a hit right away, with enough clay and colors to create at least a dozen animals. The instructions got her started and gave her enough confidence to start making her own animals almost immediately, so far we've had several cats, a guinea pig, a rabbit, a monkey, a starfish, and food bowls and carrots for the pets to eat. The little truck is very cute, they needed my help to put the "lock tabs" in the truck but aside from that my 8 and 10 year old have been able to use this set completely independently and they love it.

All Klutz kits are AWESOME, but this one and their Kawaii cake making one have been favorites with my eight year old and eleven year old. The materials are high quality, and all the accessories are so easy to use and cute. But what you’re REALLY paying for with Klutz over and over again are the amazing, well-illustrated instructions. They show you what size clay ball to roll for every single piece, so it’s so easy to make exactly what you see on the package. It might be a nice compliment to this as a gift if you buy additional black, white, tan, brown and light pink Sculpey (“bakeable”) clay so they can make TONS of animals. The clay is generous, but my kiddo wants to make tons of animals to give pets to all their stuffies and to give them away to friends. What you see in my photo isn’t even half of what my kids have made, and they still have 1/2 - 3/4 of their clay left!

We bought this as an Xmas present for our niece and she loved it so much, she stopped opening presents and immediately started playing with this. She had fun building it and playing with the characters inside. She kept going back to play with it the entire visit. Definitely a great gift for a younger girl and a good price!

My two daughters (11 and 9) had great fun with this set. Instruction book was lovely and clear and they were able to do it all independently aside from the baking. They made lots of cute cats & dogs, my only suggestion for improvement would be slightly more clay so they could make all animals in the book as they ran out of some colours. Overall, I would recommend this as it kept them entertained for a couple of hours on a rainy afternoon!

I bought this for my 8 yr old niece and she kept telling everyone it was the best gift ever! The clay was good quality, easy to use and bake. My niece usually uses fimo clay and this was comparable. She really lives the little vans and keep playing with her clay pets. The instructions were also easy to follow.
