Excellent tool. Really useful paired with the same brand laser for levelling kitchen cabinets before quartz worktop installation. Magnetic base, thankfully very robust because I’ve dropped it about a dozen times already.

Great bit of kit. Used to do a survey of existing roof trusses to ensure the roof ordered for the extension matched perfectly. Also great for levelling steels and satisfying when you see it's totally level along it's length. Very strong magnet with is good.

Delivered in a small box, this is a complete ready to go product. It comes with 2 battery's, a small screwdriver (this is to be able to undo the battery compartment) the angle reader and a case to house the reader. Considering this product isn't priced very high at all I as very impressed that it came with all the extras and battery's which make it ready to use, I wasn't expecting this at all. I've tested it on a few different things I know to be flat, and it seems to either be spot on or 0.05° out and let's be honest I'm not building a fine items so 0.05° accuracy for me is perfect. The angle reader isn't that big closest thing to compare it to is a credit card but wider. Which makes it perfect for all the DIY projects. It's got a very bright back light. Maybe too bright if I'm honest however it makes reading the angles very easy. I love the bubble level on top, I needed this in order to do caster measurements on my cars geo. Honestly can't find a fault with it, will be buying another shortly.

Nice unit, but worth mentioning that it is only accurate for measuring levels on the X axis if it is already level on the Z axis. If you tip it front to back, it doesn’t give an accurate level left to right. The bubble and digital reading diverge.

There are many similar devices, some with extra features that may appeal but for my use, this one is just about perfect. It only has a magnet on the bottom and you may want magnets on the sides or top but there is ALWAYS a way around that and for saw-blades a set-square is normally better anyway. It comes ready-calibrated (accurately) but is easy to recalibrate if you ever need to. It has a 'hold' button so that you don't have to get your eye in position to take a reading. It can temporarily use a different 'base-line' so that you can measure differential angles. It can measure in: 'Degrees' OR 'mm/m' OR '%' OR 'in/ft' - all of which have uses. It has a very legible LCD display and an excellent back-light if you need it. It has a surprisingly accurate built-in spirit level for making a quick check. It feels robust and comes with a tough fabric belt pouch. It has 'auto-off' after 3 minutes inactivity. It inspires confidence. Battery life 2880 minutes (1200 minutes if you leave the backlight on all the time) and you should get at least double that with Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries. Bearing in mind how often you are likely to use this, that battery life is ample. I am delighted with it.

We were buying a new build house and had a pre inspection booked. I used the level to check walls, floors, worktops, window sills to check that they were level or walls vertical. The accuracy was spot on. Of course under new building regulations and NHBC recommendations walls and floors do not need to be exactly horizontal or vertical. There are tolerances that cant be exceeded. The instrument showed exact values and was a godsend. Has its own spirit level and carrying belt pouch, and is quite robust. The site manager showing us around the house was impressed and said he’d have to get one. Fully recommend this product
