It is a quality product that is easy to build, it is large and ungainly so have someone else there when you have to put the butcher block to up on move it around. Came damaged, UPS came by to pick it up around 7pm and I was not home. Because of Amazon's return policy I would have to being it to a UPS store which I did not have a car that could hold a 7 foot x 3 foot 100 pound box so I kept it. Make sure if you order this that you are there when they drop it off and check it before UPS leaves.

I wanted to add some storage to a Craftsman bench I had been using for a few months. The sheet metal that forms the drawers isn't the heaviest, but it's good enough. The instructions state one of the tools you need is a square, but honestly, the way the components go together, there is no way to adjust them without drilling larger holes. I found things fit together out of the box without needing any squaring up when assembly was complete. The drawer slides could operate a little smoother, but they're OK and the soft-close mechanism works well. Overall, I'm happy with what I got for the money.

The bench is easy to assemble. Disappointed in the top. Not as thick as I thought it would be. As many have stated, this came banged up. Far from flawless. Top was scratched and dented along the edges. One end/leg had some dents and dings. Based on other's experiences, I didn't bother trying customer service. Overall it meets my needs. Not for heavy duty work though. Expected better from Craftsman.

Instructions weren’t as good as the original bench. It had extra screws and parts. Overall, it went together easy adding it to an existing bench in about 30 minutes. It gets a little tricky getting it all together when your a bigger built man. Luckily a 9 year old kid was handy to stuff him in the hole for the off handed screws I couldn’t reach. I did have one carriage bolt snap on my. I was a little disappointed in that, but replacements are cheap. Now just to finish getting everything where I need it and make it all look like I’m organized before the kids get to the tools.

Please don't buy this product. The pictures show what it looked like when delivered to me. There was almost no packaging except for a flimsy cardboard box for a package that weighs almost 150 lbs. When I opened it, this is what was inside. Even if it was undamaged, the thickness of the metal and quality of the parts was terrible. I have been buying Craftsman products for years, but have never seen them make anything this flimsy. Now I am stuck in a battle to get a refund. it has been almost two months of hassle so far with no end in sight. Just get something else. I hope I save somebody a lot of heart ache.

First of all, it's a sturdy workbench, with a nice, solid top. I can't fault it there.My item was slightly defective. The legs should have a threaded piece of steel welded to the bottom of the leg so the leveling bolts could screw into them. Mine was missing those pieces of steel on one of the legs. I called Craftsman, and they were completely unhelpful. They told me to return it to Amazon, which, for a workbench that weighed almost 100 pounds, would not have been a great option.Instead, I jury rigged something after a trip to the hardware store to get 3/8" nuts.Anyway, other than that, my biggest issue was that you need to drill the holes yourself to mount the top to the legs. Come on, Craftsman. I buy some $50 piece of manufactured wood junk cabinet, and it has everything all drilled out for me, and here, it's over $200, and I have to mark and drill the holes myself? Really?The assembly of the back splash piece isn't as clear as it should be, and they tell you to do a goofy thing in the instructions. They tell you to turn the bench completely rightside-up, but then you need to mark and drill the holes from the bottom, which isn't terribly comfortable. Instead, if you just turn the bench so that the top is perpendicular to the ground, it's much easier to just set the splash guard on the top edge, then you're drilling from the side, not the bottom.

I have a Craftsman workbench and I wanted additional storage. Was actually looking to purchase a really expensive Craftsman workbench with storage and the one I was originally looking at was not in stock. Thought I would give this item a try. What a great decision that was. Not only was it relatively easy to put together and install but the functionality is great.Very happy with this product and would have no issue recommending it and purchasing again with the Craftsman workbench
